How the Nestlé hiring process works

Nestlé's official global recruitment journey runs apply online, CV screening, a recruiter interview, a hiring-manager interview (online or face-to-face), a role-dependent evaluation stage (cognitive-ability tests, case studies, or practical tests depending on the role), a team or stakeholder interview, and then the offer. Current global job-posting templates describe "a video interview with Talent Acquisition" as the first interview step, but postings do not always say whether that interview is live or on-demand — formats vary by market and role, so check your own invitation email.

For early careers the format is regional. UK & Ireland Nestlé Academy applicants (grads, apprentices, interns) complete a Cappfinity immersive, scenario-based online assessment that mixes ranking, selecting, rating and sorting tasks with written responses and recorded video responses; prep guides report about 2 minutes of preparation and 2 minutes of recording per video question. Successful candidates then attend an in-person assessment centre with an individual strengths interview and a group activity (plus a presentation for some schemes). Southeast Asia and Africa trainee programs run on Pulsifi: a gamified assessment (personality, work interest, work culture and reasoning modules are reported) followed by a recorded video interview. Reported configurations vary — Manila candidates describe 1 minute of prep, a 3-minute answer and 3 recording attempts per question; Bangkok candidates describe six video questions (four in Thai, two in English); Nigeria's trainee posting set roughly 3-day completion deadlines for both the assessments and the video interview.

For corporate and HQ roles in Switzerland, candidates report a pre-recorded video round of about 7-10 questions, in some cases followed by two short cognitive or mathematical games, and then an HQ assessment centre that includes a 4-minute self-introduction presented with slides submitted in advance. US professional hiring, by contrast, is officially described as a behavior-based phone interview followed by live virtual or in-person panel interviews — there is no credible evidence of a one-way video stage for US corporate roles, so treat generic "Nestlé HireVue" prep advice as inapplicable there on current evidence.
