Which Raven test does this prepare me for?
This is original matrix-reasoning practice for adults, with a timed format modeled on the 23-question, 40-minute APM-III format. The same visual reasoning skills can help with other matrix tests, but our practice does not reproduce every Raven edition. Check the version named in your invitation.
Is this the same as Raven’s Adaptive?
No. TalentLens describes Raven’s Adaptive as 15 questions, untimed, taking approximately 12 minutes. Its next question depends on your previous answers. Our full test has 23 questions on a 40-minute clock, with increasing practice difficulty. It does not reproduce the publisher’s adaptive algorithm or scoring.
What is free, and what does a Raven pass include?
The interactive example and study guide are free. If your account includes free first attempts, you can try each short drill once. A Raven pass covers the full timed test and unlimited replays of all four drills during your selected period. The pass is specific to Raven practice.
When do I see the answers?
In a drill, check your answer to see the explanation before moving on. In the full test, answers and explanations appear after you finish. You can skip, flag and revisit questions during our full practice test.
Will I get an IQ score or an official Raven percentile?
No. Your results show your performance on our original practice questions. They are not an IQ score, an official Raven score or an employer pass prediction. The same raw score can mean different things on different tests and against different comparison groups.
How should I use the explanations?
Check the rule against both completed rows and completed columns. Name the exact position, shape, fill and direction of each change. Then explain why the other options fail. If your reasoning works for only one row, keep looking.
Are these real Raven questions?
