The Nestlé application process, explained

Which Nestlé route you are on, what the strengths-based online tests actually contain, what is and is not known about Nestlé’s games, the 2027 dates, and where to practice honestly.

The Nestlé interview rounds at a glance

  1. 1Find your role and apply — One application per recruitment cycle, and Nestlé warns it may close adverts early. On UK graduate schemes a CV is not required. The application takes about 25 minutes, and adjustments can be requested at the start.Dates and deadlines
  2. 2Eligibility questionnaire — Short screening questions. UK graduate schemes need the right to work in the UK that is not time-limited; most non-engineering schemes accept a degree in any subject at any grade.
  3. 3Online tests — UK graduate route — Strengths-based, and the recorded video answer is one of the question formats inside them rather than a separate stage. Nestlé publishes no time limit. Practice link goes to Cappfinity’s Preparation Hub.What the tests contain
  4. 4Video interview — other routes — HireVue says Nestlé has used automated video interviewing since 2012 to screen before face-to-face interviews and assessment centres, including technical questions that replaced 30-minute phone screens. Nestlé does not publish a question count.Nestlé interview questions Practice recorded answers
  5. 5Assessment centre — In person at a Nestlé site, January 2027 through to May 2027: an individual strengths interview plus a group activity, with a pre-briefed presentation on some schemes such as Sales.
  6. 6Offer — Offer and onboarding. Nestlé Canada notes the offer is conditional on background and reference checks.

What games are in the Nestlé assessment?

This is the section most visitors come for, and it is the one where we have to disappoint you honestly. HireVue’s own materials say Nestlé implemented game-based assessments — but neither HireVue nor Nestlé publishes which games, in which markets, or for which roles, and no candidate report we could find describes playing a game for Nestlé. We therefore name no games as Nestlé’s, because attaching a specific game to this employer would be invention. What follows is what is actually documented, plus the honest fallback: if your invitation names a game, our HireVue hub has practice for the games HireVue runs generally, which is not the same thing as Nestlé’s confirmed set.

HireVue game-based assessments — referenced by the vendor, never specified

Category practice

Official source

A HireVue resource page states that Nestlé implemented HireVue’s game-based assessments, AI-enabled video interviewing and SAP SuccessFactors integration for hiring across a range of roles, tied to a 2023 Impact Star Award. That is the entire evidence base. It names no individual game, no country and no role family; the separate HireVue Nestlé case study does not mention games at all. If your Nestlé invitation names a game, our HireVue hub has practice for the games HireVue runs generally — treat that as category familiarity, not as Nestlé’s battery, and tell us what your invitation said so this page can be tightened.

Nesternship gamified assessment, AOA region — one vendor’s claim

Category practice

Single source

The Talent Games says it supplied gamified assessment for Nestlé’s Nesternship internship program in the AOA region (Asia, Oceania, Africa), claiming it helped Nestlé run unlimited candidate assessments and evaluate creativity, problem-solving and teamwork through engaging simulations. It names no individual game, no year and no metric, and it is a different vendor from HireVue. Scope it to the Nesternship in that region and nothing wider. There is no practice route we can honestly point at, because nothing describes what the simulations are.

The UK graduate online tests are not games

Category practice

Official source

If you are on the Nestlé Academy graduate route, the thing you actually sit is a strengths-based online assessment: order these responses, select the most appropriate response, place things on a scale, sort into categories, write a response, record a video response. That is a different skill from a cognitive game battery, and practicing games will not help you with it. Practice judgment under realistic workplace scenarios and rehearse a short spoken answer instead — and use the Preparation Hub Nestlé itself links to.

pymetrics, Arctic Shores, Aon and Criteria: no evidence at Nestlé

Category practice

No evidence found

We searched specifically for each and found nothing in any official page, vendor page or candidate report. The one prep site asserting pymetrics at Nestlé has no primary source and contradicts the documented HireVue and Cappfinity relationships. If you came here from a page listing Nestlé as a pymetrics employer, that listing is unsupported — Blackstone, BCG, JPMorgan and Unilever are employers where the pymetrics evidence is real, and Nestlé is not one of them.

Source: Targeted searches for pymetrics, Arctic Shores, Aon and Criteria at Nestlé, 11 September 2026

Good to know: No registry game is attached to Nestlé on this page, and that is deliberate. HireVue says Nestlé implemented game-based assessments in one sentence on one marketing page that names zero games, zero markets and zero role families; nothing else at any tier names a game, and no candidate report describes playing one. Your invitation email is the only document that tells you what you are actually sitting. If it names a game, practice that specific game on our HireVue hub — and if you tell us which one it named, this page gets more useful for the next candidate.

Who gets the Nestlé assessment?

Nestlé does not run one hiring process. The stages you face depend on the market and the program, and the difference is large enough that flattening them into a single funnel would send most readers to the wrong preparation. Only the UK & Ireland Nestlé Academy route — graduate schemes, placements and apprenticeships — publishes its stages: eligibility questionnaire, application form, online tests, assessment centre, offer. Everywhere else, Nestlé publishes the program but not the selection.

On the UK graduate route the online tests are strengths-based, and Nestlé lists the exact question formats you will meet: order these responses, select the most appropriate response, scale-based indicators, category sorting, written responses, and record a video response. That last one matters — the video answer is a question type inside the assessment, not a separate video-interview stage. Nestlé never names the vendor, but it tells candidates to practice at hub.preparationplus.com, which is Cappfinity’s Preparation Hub, and a 2023 RAD Awards entry documents the Nestlé Academy assessment redesign built with Cappfinity, a partnership dating to 2013.

Then there is the games question, which is why most people land on this page. HireVue publishes two pages about Nestlé. One is a case study confirming automated video interviewing since 2012, used to screen ahead of face-to-face interviews and assessment centre events and to ask technical questions that previously needed 30-minute phone screens. The other states that Nestlé implemented HireVue’s game-based assessments, AI-enabled video interviewing and SAP SuccessFactors integration. That is vendor-official evidence that games exist somewhere in the relationship — and it is the whole of the evidence. HireVue names no game, no market and no role family; the HireVue case study does not mention games at all; and we found no candidate report anywhere describing playing a game for Nestlé. So this page names no games. Anyone who tells you Nestlé runs Numerosity or Pathfinder is inventing it.

Two claims circulating on prep sites are worth killing before you waste time on them. Nestlé does not use pymetrics — that assertion traces to a single prep site with no primary evidence behind it, and it contradicts both vendor relationships that are actually documented. And Nestlé does not publish any numerical, verbal or logical reasoning test for the UK graduate route; the formats it lists are strengths-based throughout.

Nestlé Academy graduate schemes (UK & Ireland)

Two-year rotational schemes starting at £32,000 a year plus benefits. Eight schemes in the current cycle: Technical Leadership; R&D Digital & Automation Engineering; Engineering (Electrical & Automation); HR; Sales; Supply Chain; Safety, Health and Environment; and Marketing. Locations vary by scheme — Sales is York and Crawley. Most schemes accept a degree in any subject at any grade; engineering and R&D schemes need a relevant degree. You need the right to work in the UK that is not time-limited, and some schemes require UK mobility. This is the route with a published stage list.

Nestlé Academy placements and apprenticeships (UK & Ireland)

Alongside the graduate schemes, the Academy runs industrial placements — Manufacturing, Product Developer, Graphic Design, R&D Product Experience, Logistics and Engineering — plus apprenticeships. Nestlé does not publish separate assessment details for these routes; the Academy application-process page covers the Academy routes generally, so expect the same shape unless your invitation says otherwise.

Experienced hire, global — interviews, not games

Nestlé’s global recruitment-journey page lists seven stages: search, CV screening, initial recruiter interview, hiring manager interview, evaluation, final interview, offer. On evaluation it says "For some roles we use evaluations to get to know you better. These might assess your cognitive abilities, such as numeric or logical reasoning, or help us understand your learning preferences, natural strengths and aspirations," and adds that you might be asked to do a case study or practical test. No platform is named and no game stage is described for experienced hires.

Nestlé India — Leaders League, Nesternship, Graduate Trainee

Nestlé India runs the Leaders League management trainee program, which starts with a live case competition on campus or a real-time business project, then a two-month summer internship, then an 18-to-24-month trainee program across production, sales and marketing, supply chain, finance and special projects. Nesternship is an eight-week immersive FMCG experience and a pathway to permanent roles. A separate Graduate Trainee Programme runs 24 to 36 months, and apprenticeships run two to three years. Crucially, Nestlé India publishes no selection stages, no tests and no assessment platform — so no vendor can honestly be claimed for India.

Nesternship gamified assessment (Asia, Oceania, Africa) — vendor claim only

The vendor The Talent Games publishes a case study saying it supplied gamified assessment for Nestlé’s Nesternship internship program in the AOA region, assessing "skills, creativity, and adaptability through engaging simulations". It names Nestlé, the Nesternship and the region explicitly — but no individual game, no year and no metrics. This is one vendor marketing claim about one program in one region, and nothing corroborates it. Do not read it as a description of Nestlé hiring generally, and note it is a different vendor from HireVue.

Nestlé USA — Purina and IT & Digital publish no testing stage

Both US business units publish the same process: research, apply, behavior-based phone interview, face-to-face or virtual interview, verbal offer, e-offer, pre-boarding. Neither page mentions assessments, tests, games or a named video platform. That is a verified absence on those pages, not proof that no video interview is ever used anywhere in the US — but it does mean there is nothing published for a Purina or Nestlé IT candidate to practice.

Nestlé Canada and Nestlé Caribbean — interview-led

Canada publishes application, recruiter interview by phone or in person, line-manager interview, conditional job offer with background and reference checks, then orientation, and notes that "Some roles require that we conduct assessments, such as writing tests, case presentations and more" — no vendor named. The Caribbean describes CV screening, HR interviews by phone, online or face to face, a line-manager interview, an assessment centre for graduates only, and a process that generally takes about two months.

How does the Nestlé assessment work?

The UK graduate online tests, in Nestlé’s own words

Official source

Nestlé says "Our online tests will help us to understand more about your strengths and suitability for the role," and then lists the question formats candidates will meet: order these responses, select the most appropriate response, scale-based indicators, category sorting, written responses, and record a video response. Note what is absent: no numerical, verbal or logical reasoning test appears anywhere on that list. Nestlé also publishes no time limit for the tests.

Source: Nestlé UK & Ireland — Nestlé Academy application process

The video answer is inside the tests, not a separate stage (UK graduate)

Official source

"Record a video response" sits in Nestlé’s list of online-test question formats, alongside ordering and rating and written answers. So on the UK graduate route you are not invited to a standalone video interview after the tests — the recording is one task within the assessment. Whether that recording is delivered by Cappfinity or by HireVue is not published by either company.

Nestlé points candidates at Cappfinity’s Preparation Hub

Official source

Nestlé does not name its test vendor anywhere. What it does is send candidates to hub.preparationplus.com to "learn more about the strengths recruitment methodology" and "complete practice questions" — that hub is Cappfinity’s, and Nestlé’s individual scheme pages repeat the referral. A 2023 RAD Awards entry, shortlisted for candidate experience, documents the Nestlé Academy assessment redesign built with Cappfinity: a digital assessment using personas tied to the Force for Good campaign, then a job simulation, then a virtual assessment centre with a strengths-based interview, with candidates receiving a feedback report naming their top two strengths. It describes thousands of eligible applicants and around 100 offers, and dates the partnership to 2013. Strong evidence — but Cappfinity’s own case-studies page does not name Nestlé, and Nestlé never names Cappfinity.

HireVue video interviewing at Nestlé since 2012

Official source

HireVue’s Nestlé case study says Nestlé "initially introduced automated video interviewing in 2012" to screen candidates before face-to-face interviews and assessment centre events, and to ask technical questions that previously required 30-minute phone screens. It quotes Jonathan Fearn, Talent Acquisition Partner at Nestlé, and reports candidate-experience figures of 92% satisfaction, 98% finding it easy to use and 93% willing to do it again. What it does not do is say which markets, which role families, or how many questions — and it does not mention games at all.

Source: HireVue — Nestlé case study

The games claim, and exactly how thin it is

Official source

One HireVue resource page states: "Nestlé implemented HireVue’s Games-based Assessments, AI-enabled Video Interviewing, and SAP SuccessFactors integration for hiring across a range of roles," alongside a 2023 Impact Star Award. That is vendor-official and it is the only source at any tier placing games at Nestlé. It names no game, no market and no role family. HireVue’s own Nestlé case study mentions games nowhere. No candidate report we could find describes playing a game for Nestlé. So the honest position is: games exist somewhere in the relationship, and nobody publishes which ones. We will not guess, because guessing here would send you to practice the wrong battery.

What HireVue games are like in general, if you are sent one

Official source

HireVue’s product page says its game-based assessments measure Personality & Work Style, Working with People, and Working with Information, that candidates "complete a short series of engaging games — each under 20 minutes", and that the games are randomized. HireVue does not publish individual game names there either. This describes HireVue’s games in general, not Nestlé’s confirmed set — treat it as background for what a HireVue invitation tends to look like.

No pymetrics, no SHL, no Arctic Shores, no Aon, no Criteria

No evidence found

Searches for each of these at Nestlé returned nothing at any primary tier. One prep site asserts Nestlé uses pymetrics for graduate and leadership programs, and the same page asserts SHL Verify numerical and verbal reasoning; neither has a primary source behind it, and both conflict with the two vendor relationships that are documented. Search engines have started synthesizing that prep-site content into confident-sounding answers, which is exactly why this page states the tier of every claim. If a page tells you to practice pymetrics games for Nestlé, it is repeating an unsourced claim.

The assessment centre is in person, and strengths-led

Official source

Nestlé says: "If you’re successful in the online assessments, you will be invited to an assessment centre... This will be an in-person event at one of our Nestlé sites," including "an individual strengths interview and a group activity," plus a chance to meet current employees. The Sales scheme page adds a presentation to the assessment day. Candidate reports from UK sales candidates add a written analysis exercise, a group task prioritizing client orders in fours, and a product pitch followed by a negotiation — those are single-source and sales-specific, so treat them as role-specific color rather than the standard format.

One application per cycle, and adverts can close early

Official source

Nestlé’s application-process page says to "submit only one application per recruitment cycle", and its scheme pages warn that Nestlé "may occasionally close job advertisements early". The FAQ says an application takes about 25 minutes and that there is "opportunity at the start of your online application to ask for adjustments. Letting us know will not impact your application." On UK graduate schemes a CV is explicitly not mandatory or required.

Nestlé’s values, correctly stated

Official source

Prep sites claim Nestlé’s values are "Respect, Integrity, Excellence, Courage" and that Nestlé uses a "LEAD framework". Neither appears on any Nestlé page. Nestlé’s published values are built on respect — respect for ourselves, for others, for diversity and for the future — under the purpose to "unlock the power of food and beverages to enhance quality of life for everyone, today and for generations to come". If you are preparing values-led answers for a strengths interview, use those.

What happens in the Nestlé hiring process?

UK & Ireland Nestlé Academy: the published route

This is the only Nestlé route with an official, end-to-end stage list.

  1. 1Find your role and apply. One application per recruitment cycle; adverts may close early. A CV is not required on graduate schemes — upload any relevant qualifications instead. The application takes about 25 minutes, and adjustments can be requested at the start without affecting your application.
  2. 2Eligibility questionnaire: short screening questions confirming you qualify for the scheme, including non-time-limited right to work in the UK.
  3. 3Application form verifying the role requirements.
  4. 4Online tests: strengths-based, with six question formats including a recorded video response. No time limit is published. Nestlé links to hub.preparationplus.com — Cappfinity’s Preparation Hub — for the methodology and practice questions.
  5. 5Assessment centre: in person at a Nestlé site between January 2027 and May 2027 — an individual strengths interview and a group activity, plus a chance to meet current employees. Sales adds a pre-briefed presentation and runs January to March 2027.
  6. 6Offer, then onboarding. Sales starts 1 September 2027 on a two-year scheme at £32,000.

The video interview, where it is a separate stage

Outside the UK graduate route, HireVue is where Nestlé’s recorded interviewing happens — and it is the stage worth the most preparation because Nestlé publishes real detail about what it covers.

  1. 1HireVue says Nestlé introduced automated video interviewing in 2012 to screen candidates before face-to-face interviews and assessment centre events.
  2. 2Expect motivation questions — why this role, why Nestlé — and behavioral examples: Nestlé describes "competency based interviewing techniques that will draw on your experiences and real examples from your professional life".
  3. 3Expect role-specific technical questions: HireVue says Nestlé uses the video interview to ask the technical questions that previously required 30-minute phone screens.
  4. 4We do not state a question count or a timing. The "5 to 7 questions" figures circulating online come from prep sites and from forum pages that could not be read, so they are not evidence.
  5. 5Our researched Nestlé interview-question page collects the questions candidates and Nestlé itself report at /hirevue/questions/nestle, and you can rehearse recorded answers at /mock-interviews/nestle.

Experienced hire, globally: interviews and unnamed evaluations

If you are not a student or graduate applicant, this is your process — and it contains no games.

  1. 1Search and apply; Nestlé screens your CV.
  2. 2Initial interview with a recruiter.
  3. 3Hiring manager interview.
  4. 4Evaluation, for some roles only: Nestlé says these "might assess your cognitive abilities, such as numeric or logical reasoning, or help us understand your learning preferences, natural strengths and aspirations", and that you might be asked to do a case study or practical test. No platform is named and no game is described.
  5. 5Final interview, then offer. Nestlé says the nature and timing of the evaluation vary by role; Nestlé Caribbean puts the whole process at roughly two months.

Source: Nestlé Global — recruitment journey

Regions where Nestlé publishes nothing about selection

Be careful here — an absence of published stages is not an absence of stages, and it is certainly not permission to guess a vendor.

  1. 1Nestlé India publishes the Leaders League, Nesternship, Graduate Trainee, apprenticeship and Nespreneur programs, and no selection stages whatsoever. No vendor can honestly be claimed for India.
  2. 2Nestlé East & Southern Africa publishes a Graduate Program, a 12-month management traineeship, a virtual Nesternship, apprenticeships, a bursary and a Differently Abled Learners Program — again with no stages described.
  3. 3The only pointer into these markets is The Talent Games’ vendor case study claiming gamified assessment for the Nesternship in the AOA region, with no games, year or metrics.
  4. 4Nestlé USA’s Purina and IT & Digital units publish interview-only processes with no testing stage at all — a verified absence on those pages, not proof that no video interview is ever used in the US.
  5. 5Nestlé Canada notes some roles require assessments such as writing tests and case presentations, without naming a vendor. Nestlé Caribbean reserves an assessment centre for graduates only.

Claims about Nestlé you will find elsewhere, and what they are worth

Nestlé is a heavily written-about employer, and a lot of what is written is unsourced.

  1. 1"Nestlé uses pymetrics for graduate and leadership programs" — traces to one prep site with no primary evidence, and contradicts the HireVue and Cappfinity evidence. Unsupported.
  2. 2"Nestlé uses SHL Verify numerical and verbal reasoning" — same prep site, same absence of a primary source. Nestlé’s own page lists only strengths-style formats.
  3. 3"Nestlé candidates play [named HireVue game]" — no source at any tier names a game for Nestlé. Anything naming one is invented.
  4. 4"Nestlé’s values are Respect, Integrity, Excellence, Courage" and "Nestlé uses a LEAD framework" — neither appears on any Nestlé page. The real values are respect-based.
  5. 5"Assessment centres run February to March 2026 for a September 2026 start" — that is the previous cycle, from an older Product Developer page. The live cycle runs January to May 2027.
  6. 6Numbers of video-interview questions — the 5-to-7 and 7-question figures come from prep sites and from forum pages that returned 403 and could not be read.

When is the Nestlé assessment?

Only the UK & Ireland Nestlé Academy cycle has published dates. Everything below was checked on 11 September 2026, and note the date trap: an older Nestlé page describing February-March 2026 assessment days and a September 2026 start belongs to the previous cycle, not this one.

CycleApplication datesLikely assessment windowEvidence
UK & Ireland graduate cycle — applicationsApplications open November 2nd. Nestlé publishes no closing date, and warns it "may occasionally close job advertisements early"Online tests after the eligibility questionnaire and application form; no time limit publishedOfficial source

Nestlé asks for only one application per recruitment cycle, so decide the scheme before you submit. Because adverts can close early and no deadline is published, applying in the first weeks of November is materially safer than waiting. Do not trust any site quoting a Nestlé closing date — Nestlé does not publish one.

Nestlé’s wording is exact: "you will be invited to an assessment centre that will take place from January 2027 through to May 2027. This will be an in-person event at one of our Nestlé sites." The Sales scheme page narrows its own assessment day to between January and March 2027, so the window varies by scheme — use the date in your invitation, and budget for travel to a Nestlé site rather than a video call.

How to practice for the Nestlé assessment

Work out which Nestlé you are applying to before you prepare anything, because the right preparation for a UK graduate scheme is almost the opposite of the right preparation for a HireVue game invitation. UK Academy graduates sit strengths-based online tests and then an in-person assessment centre — judgment, self-knowledge and a short recorded answer. Experienced hires get interviews and possibly an unnamed evaluation. And for games, nobody publishes what Nestlé runs, so there is nothing specific to drill until your invitation names something.

One practical consequence: the single highest-value thing you can do on the UK route is use the Preparation Hub Nestlé itself links to at hub.preparationplus.com. An employer telling you where to practice is rare, and it is better evidence of what you will face than anything a prep site can offer. Our practice metrics track your improvement on cognitive formats; Nestlé publishes no scoring model, no cutoff and no time limit.

Step 1

Identify your route first

UK & Ireland Nestlé Academy: strengths-based online tests, then an in-person assessment centre. Experienced hire globally: recruiter and hiring-manager interviews, possibly an unnamed evaluation, final interview. US Purina or IT & Digital: phone then face-to-face interviews, with no testing stage published. India, ESAR and other markets: programs published, stages not. Your invitation is the only binding source.

Step 2

Use the practice hub Nestlé links to

Nestlé sends UK candidates to hub.preparationplus.com to learn the strengths recruitment methodology and complete practice questions. Do that before anything else on this page. The six formats to get comfortable with are ordering responses, picking the most appropriate response, rating on a scale, sorting into categories, writing a response, and recording a video response.

Step 3

Rehearse the recorded answer as its own skill

On the UK route the video response is one question inside the tests; on other routes it is a full HireVue stage. Either way, record yourself once before the real thing. Prepare a concise spoken answer for why this role and why Nestlé, one behavioral example with a real outcome, and — if your role is technical — a clear explanation of something you have actually built or run.

Step 4

Prepare strengths, not a competency script

Nestlé frames both the online stage and the assessment-centre interview around strengths: what you do well and what energizes you, rather than rehearsed competency frameworks. Prepare examples where you were genuinely good at something and can say why you enjoyed it. Use Nestlé’s real values as your anchor — respect for ourselves, for others, for diversity and for the future — not the invented four-word value set prep sites circulate.

Step 5

Plan for a real assessment centre, in a real building

The UK assessment centre is in person at a Nestlé site between January and May 2027, with an individual strengths interview and a group activity, plus a presentation on some schemes such as Sales. Confirm the location and date early enough to arrange travel. If your scheme briefs a presentation in advance, build it early and rehearse it aloud to time.

Step 6

Only drill games if your invitation names one

Nothing published says which games Nestlé runs, so drilling a guessed lineup is wasted time and could be the wrong battery entirely. If your invitation names a specific game, practice that one on our HireVue hub. If it names games without naming them individually, a single run through a few HireVue formats buys you familiarity with the controls and the adaptive difficulty, which is most of what a first-time game candidate loses points to.

Step 7

Spend your one application deliberately

One application per recruitment cycle, no published closing date, and adverts that may close early. Pick the scheme, prepare the answers, then apply early in November rather than optimizing forever. On UK graduate schemes you do not need a CV — upload relevant qualifications instead — and you can request adjustments at the start without it affecting your application.

Nestlé assessment FAQ

Does Nestlé use HireVue games?

HireVue’s own resource page says Nestlé implemented HireVue’s game-based assessments, AI-enabled video interviewing and SAP SuccessFactors integration, tied to a 2023 Impact Star Award. That is vendor-official evidence that games exist somewhere in the relationship. But it names no game, no market and no role family, HireVue’s separate Nestlé case study does not mention games at all, and we found no candidate report describing playing a game for Nestlé. So we cannot tell you which games to expect, and we will not guess.

What games does Nestlé use?

Nobody publishes them. Neither Nestlé nor HireVue names a single game, in any market or for any role. Any page telling you Nestlé runs a specific named game is inventing it. If your invitation names a game, practice that game on our HireVue hub — and the invitation is the only reliable source you have.

Does Nestlé use pymetrics?

No evidence connects Nestlé to pymetrics. The claim traces to a single prep site with no primary source behind it, and it conflicts with the two vendor relationships that are actually documented — HireVue for video interviewing and game-based assessments, and Cappfinity for the UK graduate strengths tests. Do not practice pymetrics games for a Nestlé application.

What is in the Nestlé online test?

For the UK & Ireland Nestlé Academy route, Nestlé lists the question formats itself: order these responses, select the most appropriate response, scale-based indicators, category sorting, written responses, and record a video response. It is strengths-based throughout — Nestlé publishes no numerical, verbal or logical reasoning test for this route, despite what several prep sites add. Nestlé also publishes no time limit.

Is the Nestlé video interview a separate stage?

On the UK graduate route, no — "Record a video response" is one of the question formats inside the online tests, not a stage of its own. On other routes it is separate: HireVue says Nestlé has used automated video interviewing since 2012 to screen candidates before face-to-face interviews and assessment centres. Nestlé publishes no question count, and the 5-to-7 figures circulating online come from prep sites, not from Nestlé.

When are Nestlé assessment centres in 2027?

January 2027 through to May 2027, in person at a Nestlé site, for the UK & Ireland graduate cycle — Nestlé’s own wording. The Sales scheme narrows its assessment day to January to March 2027, with a 1 September 2027 start on a two-year £32,000 scheme. An older Nestlé page showing February-March 2026 assessment days and a September 2026 start is the previous cycle, so ignore any site quoting those dates as current.

What is the deadline for Nestlé graduate applications?

Nestlé publishes an opening date of November 2nd and no closing date at all. It also warns that it may occasionally close job advertisements early and asks for only one application per recruitment cycle. Any specific closing date you see elsewhere is somebody’s guess or a stale date from a previous cycle — apply early.

Do Nestlé US candidates take a test?

Nestlé Purina and Nestlé IT & Digital both publish their hiring processes as research, apply, behavior-based phone interview, face-to-face or virtual interview, verbal offer, e-offer, pre-boarding — with no assessments, tests or games listed. That is a verified absence on those pages rather than proof that no video interview is ever used in the US. Nestlé USA does publish five interview questions it expects you to prepare: what you know about the company, what motivates you, your weaknesses, where you see yourself in five years, and your own questions.

Does Nestlé India or Nestlé Africa use games?

Neither Nestlé India nor Nestlé East & Southern Africa publishes any selection stage, test or assessment platform, so no vendor can honestly be claimed for those markets. The only pointer is a case study from the vendor The Talent Games claiming it supplied gamified assessment for the Nesternship internship program in the AOA region — with no individual games, no year and no metrics. Scope that to the Nesternship in that region and nothing wider.

Game Assessment Prep is independent and is not affiliated with Nestlé or HireVue. Employer processes can change by program, role, country, and recruiting cycle.
