Choose a short practice drill
Work on one skill at a time. Check each answer and read its explanation before continuing.
Numerical data
Read data tables, compare quantities and rank numerical alternatives.
Numerical calculations
Calculate percentages, ratios, costs and rates, including typed numerical answers.
Verbal comprehension
Understand passages, select accurate summaries and distinguish supported claims.
Verbal precision
Work on word choice, editing, communication style and the strength of a message.
Critical inference
Separate necessary conclusions, justified evidence and degrees of support.
Critical arguments
Identify unstated assumptions and judge whether arguments are relevant and important.
Diagrammatic sequences
Find the next image by tracking position, rotation, number and shading.
Diagrammatic rules
Apply visual transformations and combine independent pattern rules.
Coding tracing
Follow taught instructions, track variables and work through simple loops.
Coding rules
Apply conditions and unfamiliar symbolic rules without needing coding experience.
Choose a longer practice test
Complete a full practice set with feedback at the end. Our sets record your time without a countdown; your employer’s invitation determines the actual modules and timing.
Mixed cognitive practice
Work through all five cognitive subjects in one sitting, with 12 questions in each. Choose the subjects in your invitation if you do not need the whole set.
Numerical reasoning practice test
Interpret business data, enter calculated values and rank numerical alternatives.
Verbal reasoning practice test
Practice comprehension, evidence, precise editing, communication style and tone.
Critical reasoning practice test
Distinguish deduction, evidence, inference, assumptions and argument strength.
Diagrammatic reasoning practice test
Track visual patterns, transformations and sequences using precise shape arrangements.
Coding potential practice test
Learn the supplied rules, trace instructions and apply conditions. No coding background needed.
One Cappfinity pass covers all longer tests and drill replays. If your account includes free first attempts, you can try each short drill once.
Get familiar with the controls
Try ranking, sliders, categorization, strengths reflection, communication-style matching and targeted proofreading. These free examples explain the task without assigning a personality score.
Try the free examplesLearn the reasoning methods
Read worked examples for every drill, understand the five different critical reasoning standards, and plan around the activities in your invitation.

Common questions
What is a Cappfinity assessment?
Cappfinity provides cognitive, behavioral, strengths and other assessment activities. Employers choose the combination for their roles. There is no single question count, time limit or list of modules that applies to every Cappfinity invitation.
What does this practice include?
Ten six-question drills, five 12-question subject tests and a 60-question mixed cognitive set. The subjects are numerical, verbal, critical and diagrammatic reasoning, plus coding potential. Free interactive familiarization covers behavioral controls, verbal style matching and targeted proofreading. These counts and formats describe our original practice, not one official Cappfinity exam.
Is Cappfinity timed?
Timing depends on the assessment. The official public standalone reasoning demos record time without a countdown, while the current candidate hub says other activities may have overall or per-question limits. Our scored practice records time with no countdown and reports accuracy and pace separately. Follow your invitation for the actual timing rules.
Can I use a calculator?
Yes for our numerical practice. Cappfinity’s numerical preparation guidance recommends a calculator and note-taking. Read your own assessment instructions for permitted tools and arrange any needed adjustments with the employer before starting.
Do I need programming experience for coding potential?
No. Our original questions teach the rules you need and ask you to follow instructions, trace values and apply conditions. This is introductory reasoning practice, not a programming interview, a professional coding certification or a claim to reproduce every employer’s technical assessment.
How do the free attempts and pass work?
If your account includes free first attempts, you can try each short drill once. One Cappfinity pass covers all six longer practice sets and every drill replay during the selected period. Some accounts require a pass before scored practice. The public examples, study guide and interactive familiarization are free; saved results and explanations remain available after the pass expires.
Does the pass include video interviews and personality scoring?
No personality or strengths preference is scored as right or wrong here. The free familiarization explains the controls and helps you reflect honestly. The pass covers the 16 scored cognitive practice modes. Our linked video interview practice is a separate product.
Will my practice result tell me whether I will pass?
No. Results show accuracy, pace and explanations for these original questions. Our demanding practice goals are editorial learning targets, not employer cutoffs, official Cappfinity scores or hiring predictions. The forms are fixed practice sets and do not reproduce private adaptive or scoring systems.
