Learn the data-tab format
Read the statement, locate its source sheet, then check the relevant numbers and units. A larger total is not always a better rate, and missing information does not make a statement false. Use the short drills to learn these distinctions before working against the clock.

Common questions
What does the Aon numerical assessment involve?
In the standard scales numerical format, you have 12 minutes for 37 statements. You consult a fixed set of six company data sheets and judge each statement True, False or Cannot Say. Each statement can be resolved from one sheet. Our full practice follows that format with original data and questions.
Is this the same as Aon Digit Challenge?
No. Digit Challenge is a short arithmetic game in the smartPredict family. scales numerical asks you to interpret business data, tables and charts. Check the assessment name on your invitation. Our Numerical Reasoning, smartPredict and gapChallenge tracks have separate passes.
Can I use a calculator or revisit a question?
Aon’s preparation material allows a calculator and rough paper for this format. Our calculator is available in every mode. During full practice, you can move between statements, revise answers and switch data tabs; the timer keeps running. Short drills show explanations after you check an answer. Full tests show explanations only at the end.
What does Cannot Say mean?
Choose Cannot Say when the data are insufficient to prove or disprove the statement. It is a submitted answer, distinct from leaving a question blank. For example, a sheet showing revenue without costs cannot establish profit.
What does an Aon Numerical Reasoning pass include?
One pass covers all seven short drills, unlimited replays and full timed tests in this assessment category for the selected period. Trial access, where included, gives one attempt per short drill. Full tests require a pass in the paid-access groups. Saved results and explanations remain available after the pass ends.
Will questions repeat?
The bank contains 144 original statements across three company datasets. A full test draws 37 statements from one company; each short drill uses eight. Practice rotates company datasets where possible, but repeat sittings can reuse data and questions. Progress distinguishes familiar company data from fresh datasets.
What score do I need to pass the real assessment?
There is no universal employer cutoff we can substantiate. Our demanding practice goals help you check accuracy, pacing and topic coverage; they are editorial targets, not Aon percentiles or hiring predictions. Use your results to find and practice weaknesses.
My invitation says six minutes. Is this the right version?
A compact scales numerical format also exists, with 18 statements in six minutes. These drills develop the same data-interpretation skills, but our full timed simulation is the standard 37-statement, 12-minute format. Follow your invitation for your actual timing and instructions.
