Numerical reasoning
Read data, work through percentages and ratios, then enter your results on a chart. Check the units and the total before submitting.

Switch between numerical data, visual patterns and logical rules in one sitting. Build your answers, practice the pace and learn from a worked review of every task.
Work through a mixed set under one continuous 36-minute timer. Use the review afterward to compare accuracy and time across the three reasoning areas.
Practice the full sittingTake two tasks from each reasoning area without a timer. Submit an answer, follow the worked explanation and understand the method before moving on.
Start with a short drillEach area calls for a different method. Practice recognizing what the task asks, solving it and entering the complete answer before switching to the next problem.
Read data, work through percentages and ratios, then enter your results on a chart. Check the units and the total before submitting.
Build your numerical skillsFind the changes in visual patterns and letter–number sequences. Apply the rule to construct the next pattern or continue a path.
Build your pattern skillsCombine the rules to arrange people, order items and solve scheduling problems. Make sure the complete answer satisfies every condition.
Build your deductive skillsStart with an introductory example from each reasoning area. These original practice examples require no account and do not use a practice attempt. They are independent preparation materials, not official SHL questions.
Three support teams track the requests they received this week. The resolved column counts only requests from that same week.

| Birch | 250 | 150 |
| Cedar | 180 | 144 |

The first three nodes are connected. Find the changes in their letters and numbers, then extend the path through each remaining node once.
Continue from the fixed starting nodes. Connect each remaining node once in the order that follows the rule.
Select the next node to draw a connection. You can also drag from the highlighted endpoint to the next node. With a keyboard, Tab to a node and press Enter or Space.

Luis, Nia, Omar and Priya each collect one package. The available times are 9:00 am, 10:00 am, 11:00 am and 12:00 pm. Each time is used by exactly one person.
Use each position once. Choosing an occupied position swaps those two placements. You can change your answer before submitting.

Identify whether you need values, a pattern, an order or a schedule. Check units, date boundaries and how many parts the answer needs.
Calculate from the data or work through the rules. Use the controls to record that solution, and check that every part matches your reasoning.
Our timed form averages 90 seconds per task, with no separate item deadline. Some tasks need longer; watch your overall progress without rushing every answer.
Use raw accuracy and timing to choose what to practice next. Identify a missed percentage base, pattern change or scheduling restriction, then work on that skill.
SHL Verify Interactive G+ has a published maximum of 24 activity-based questions in 36 minutes, covering numerical, inductive and deductive reasoning. SHL describes it as adaptive. Read SHL’s Interactive G+ fact sheet.
SHL Verify G+ is a separate adaptive multiple-choice format with up to 30 questions in 36 minutes. Standalone reasoning assessments and G+ Short also need their own format checks. Follow the title and instructions in your invitation. Read SHL’s multiple-choice G+ fact sheet.
Our practice uses original questions in fixed forms. Its balanced eight-per-ability timed mix, two-per-ability learning mix and task ordering are editorial choices. They are not published SHL quotas, and the practice does not reproduce SHL’s adaptive selection, calibrated difficulty, scoring or exact interface.
Try the three examples above for free. Full practice access is shown before you start; a dedicated SHL G+ pass covers its timed and learning modes. Standalone SHL tracks have separate passes.
Your saved reviews remain free to reopen after your pass ends, with the original tasks, your answers and worked explanations. Results show raw practice accuracy and timing.
SHL Verify Interactive G+ is an adaptive general ability assessment covering numerical, inductive and deductive reasoning. It uses activity-based responses and has a published limit of 36 minutes with up to 24 questions. This independent practice combines original tasks from those three reasoning areas.
Timed practice has 24 tasks under one continuous 36-minute clock. Learning practice has six untimed tasks with feedback after each answer. Our timed form contains eight tasks per ability, and learning contains two per ability. That balanced mix and its ordering are our editorial choices, not published SHL quotas.
They are separate formats. SHL’s Verify Interactive G+ fact sheet specifies up to 24 activity-based questions in 36 minutes. Its Verify G+ fact sheet specifies up to 30 multiple-choice questions in 36 minutes. Both are adaptive. Check the exact assessment name in your invitation; this practice focuses on the interactive format.
Our practice uses fixed forms with original questions and editorial difficulty judgments. It does not reproduce SHL’s adaptive question selection, calibrated difficulty, scoring or exact interface. Use it to practice the reasoning, response controls and pacing, and follow the official instructions for your assigned assessment.
Our timed practice requires a complete answer before moving forward and does not allow skipping or returning to submitted tasks. The 36-minute clock continues through background tabs and reloads. Learning practice allows skipping and moves forward only. Only submitted answers count; an unsubmitted selection is unanswered when time ends.
The three worked examples on this page are free without an account and do not use a practice attempt. Full practice access is shown before you start. A dedicated SHL G+ pass covers both its timed and learning modes. Standalone Numerical, Inductive, Deductive and Verbal tracks have separate passes. Saved reviews remain free to reopen after your pass ends.
Your review shows raw practice accuracy, timing, your answers and worked explanations, including results for each reasoning area. It is not an official SHL score or percentile and does not predict an employer’s decision. Use the review to identify the calculations, patterns or rules that need more practice.
Practice a complete timed sitting, then learn from every answer.
