Elevator aptitude test practice

NEIEP’s official study guide describes a paper-based test with 100 multiple-choice questions: 35 reading comprehension, 35 mechanical aptitude and 30 mathematics. Its reading samples include filling gaps in a passage. Our three full practice forms follow those section counts with original questions.

The national materials we reviewed do not establish a universal time limit. Follow the instructions from your local recruitment team. Our full practice uses a 90-minute training clock; that is our practice setting, not a claim about your official test. Short drills are untimed.

NEIEP states that a minimum overall aptitude score of 70% is needed to proceed to an interview. Our 85% practice target is deliberately more demanding, but it is an editorial training goal. Different questions, timing and test conditions mean it cannot predict your official result or hiring rank.

NEIEP describes a separate tool assessment whose correct responses contribute to the interview score. Our tool and measurement drills prepare those skills separately. They are included in the same practice pass, but their results never contribute to the 100-question aptitude practice score.

Check your recruitment instructions for the policy that applies to you. Our practice has no built-in calculator. Work through the arithmetic by hand to build fluency; we do not claim a universal official calculator policy.

One pass covers all ten short drills, unlimited replays and full EIAT practice tests for the selected period. Where trial access is included, each short drill has one free attempt. Full tests require a pass in the paid-access groups. Saved results and explanations stay available after the pass ends. Other assessment categories use separate passes.

The bank contains 300 original aptitude questions across three full forms, plus 40 supplemental tool and measurement questions. Practice prioritizes less familiar material when possible. Repeated questions help with rehearsal, but a high score on familiar questions is weaker readiness evidence than a strong score on a new form.

The aptitude test checks foundational reading, mechanical and mathematical skills. It does not require prior elevator trade expertise. Start with the short drills, review errors and then combine the skills in a full practice test.
