Choose the subjects you need

Use your program’s required subject list. The initial four-subject selection is a starting point; your school may require a different combination. Check what to look for.

Required subjects

4 subjects selected · 220 questions in your full rehearsal

Start the 12-question diagnostic

The diagnostic is untimed and samples three questions per selected academic subject. It helps you choose what to study first.

Choose a practice drill

Eight questions focused on one skill, with explanations as you practice. Accounts with free first attempts can try each drill once. One HESI A2 pass covers replays and rehearsals.

Take your full HESI A2 rehearsal

Combine your selected subjects. Submitted answers are locked, and results and explanations appear when the rehearsal ends.

Question counts and section clocks are our practice presets. Schools choose their own exam setup. Your result shows practice accuracy, not an official HESI score.

Your rehearsal setup

Separate practice clocks for each subject. 3 hours 30 minutes at your saved setting.

Change timing and subject order

Extra-time practice does not grant official accommodations.

Starting subject order

  1. 1. Reading comprehension
  2. 2. Vocabulary and general knowledge
  3. 3. Grammar
  4. 4. Basic math skills
Add your school’s subject targets

Optional percentage targets for your own reference. Check your program’s current rules; practice accuracy is not an official score.

Practice one complete section

Use a subject’s practice clock and review all answers after finishing. These use section timing even if your full rehearsal uses an overall budget.

Common questions

Which subjects should I practice?

Choose the subjects listed by your nursing or allied-health program. Our starting selection is reading, vocabulary, grammar and math. Add anatomy and physiology, biology, chemistry, critical thinking or physics if your program requires them.

Is there one full HESI A2 exam everyone takes?

No. Programs select subjects and set testing requirements. Our full rehearsal uses your selected subjects, with clearly labeled practice timing. Check the required subjects and appointment rules before booking your official exam.

What does a HESI A2 pass cover?

One HESI A2 pass covers its short-drill replays, section rehearsals and selected-subject full rehearsals for the chosen period. Accounts with free first attempts can try the diagnostic and each short drill once. Saved results and explanations remain available.

Will I see explanations while answering?

Short drills and the diagnostic show explanations as you practice, with passage-group feedback delayed to avoid revealing later answers. Section rehearsals and the full rehearsal show results and explanations after you finish.

Does my practice percentage predict my official score?

No. These are original questions scored as practice accuracy. Schools set their own admissions rules. Review every required subject separately, and use multiple fresh attempts when judging progress.

Are HESI Exit, NCLEX and personality tests included?

This product prepares for HESI A2 admissions subjects, not HESI Exit or NCLEX. The study guide explains personal inventories without assigning right answers or a passing score to personality or learning preferences.
