Candidates apply on career.elm.sa by building a profile and completing an application form with role-specific questions, then receive a confirmation email and status updates while the application is reviewed. Shortlisted candidates get an email invitation to Elm's AI-powered assessment, which Elm describes as multiple stages: prescreening, an on-demand (one-way) video interview, and video-game-inspired challenges that Elm says measure "flexibility and adaptability." Developer candidates also complete the CodeVue coding test. Elm asks candidates to complete the assessment "as soon as possible"; it does not publish a question count, preparation or answer timings, a retake policy, or a fixed deadline window, so expect those details to vary by requisition.
After the assessment, interviews are scheduled through an AI-powered self-scheduling tool: candidates pick a slot with the hiring manager and an HR Business Partner, held over Microsoft Teams or in person depending on the hiring manager's preference. Some roles then receive a written business case study with a submission deadline, assessed on understanding, structured thinking, presentation, and business acumen, followed by a short Personality & Ability Test. The final interview is with senior management or specialist experts and focuses on core competencies and leadership; executive roles may require multiple final interviews. An offer is followed by a medical examination and onboarding.
Elm's careers FAQ says candidates hear back within 1 to 2 weeks of an interview, and candidate-aggregated data puts the whole process at roughly 39 days on average, with moderate reported difficulty. Elm's own interview-prep page recommends the STAR method and says questions "will pertain to the skills and knowledge that is necessary for the role."
