Australian Signals Directorate — the Criteria assessment stage

ASD Graduate Program

The Australian Signals Directorate’s graduate-program listings on GradConnection and Prosple tell applicants to “complete the online Revelian Cognify assessment”, and competitive Cognify results together with the written application decide who progresses to further assessment. “Revelian” is the Brisbane company Criteria acquired in 2020 — the brand was retired around 2022, but Australian employers and candidates still use the name. The listing quotes about 20–30 minutes for the assessment, which fits the six-game, 20-minute Cognify version documented in Criteria’s earlier APAC materials (Criteria’s current pages describe a three-game default — Grid Lock, Numbubbles and Proof It — in about 10 minutes plus tutorials); ASD does not publish game names. Criteria offers no official Cognify practice, and results go to the employer only — candidates see in-game star feedback but do not automatically receive a score.

Practice the reported Australian Signals Directorate games

ASD names Cognify in its own listing but not individual games. Grid Lock, Numbubbles and Proof It are in every Cognify configuration per Criteria’s product page, so they are the likely core — but ASD does not publish its configuration, so every game here is labeled reported; Short Cuts, Resemble and Tally Up appear only in the six-game version that Criteria’s earlier APAC materials documented and that the listing’s 20–30-minute figure suggests — practise all six.
