Resemble

Resemble shows an objective pattern built from three tile types — two solid colours and a two-colour diagonal that can face four ways — and asks you to recreate it on an empty grid from an unlimited tile tray. From round two an instruction may tell you to rotate the whole pattern 90° or 180° before rebuilding it. Grids grow from 2×2 to 3×3 in later rounds. Revelian’s 2016 promo, its assessment brief and a 2021 candidate session recording all agree on 9 rounds under one 3-minute clock.

How to Play

01

Drag tiles from the tray into the grid; tap a diagonal tile to rotate it.

02

If an instruction says ROTATE RIGHT 90° (or 180°, or LEFT 90°), rebuild the pattern as it would look after that turn.

03

A correct full grid advances automatically; a wrong one lets you keep editing.

04

Up to nine rounds under one 3-minute clock; one star per correct pattern.

In the real assessment

Round count, the 3-minute clock, the three tile types, grid sizes and the three rotation instructions actually displayed (RIGHT 90°, RIGHT 180°, LEFT 90° — guides citing “270°” mean LEFT 90°) are first-hand confirmed. How often an instruction appears is only estimated from one session, so this build uses about 70% of rounds from round two.
