Remote roles across Crossover’s client companies — CCAT required for virtually all positions

Crossover requires the Criteria Cognitive Aptitude Test (CCAT) for virtually every role as an early gate and later verifies performance with a proctored, webcam-monitored retake (the PCCAT) before hire. Crossover publishes its own CCAT and PCCAT guides, and its support FAQ sets the retake rule: one attempt per email address in any six-month period; using multiple email addresses leads to rejection; scores are not disclosed to candidates. The CCAT itself is Criteria’s 50-question, 15-minute multiple-choice test covering verbal ability, maths and logic, and spatial reasoning, with no calculator. Requirements vary by role, so follow the requirement in your own application. Crossover’s current CCAT guide names 12minprep.com as the exception to its ban on other preparation websites and warns of blacklisting for using banned resources.
