Questions about scales ix practice
What is Aon scales ix?
scales ix is Aon’s Inductive Reasoning test. Each task shows nine objects in a row. Eight follow one rule, such as a fixed rotation step or an alternating fill, and you select the one that does not. Aon gives 20 tasks in 5 minutes, in increasing difficulty.
Can I go back and change an answer?
Yes. Aon allows navigation between tasks in scales ix and recommends working in order. Our timed test works the same way: Back and Next move between tasks, the task grid jumps to any task, and your latest choice counts until you finish or the 5 minutes run out.
Do the ix tasks change with my answers?
No. scales ix has a fixed 20 tasks presented in increasing difficulty. Our timed test follows that shape: the first six tasks use the plainest rules, and the last six use subtler steps with a second attribute that varies without mattering.
How long should each task take?
Five minutes for 20 tasks is 15 seconds each. Early tasks usually take less, which leaves time for the harder ones at the end. If a rule does not appear within a few seconds, compare neighboring objects one attribute at a time: shape, rotation, fill, size, then counts.
How is my practice scored?
Results show how many of the 20 tasks you got right and how many you answered, with the rule and the odd object for every task in the review. Saved reviews keep the original tasks.
What is free, and which pass covers this practice?
