SHL Checking guide
SHL Checking practice
Match sequences of numbers and letters to the one identical option. Every wrong option is a near miss: a swapped pair, a changed character or a look-alike.
Before you start
- All three sequence types, with a worked answer after each question.
- Choose the option that is identical to the sequence on the left, then select Submit answer. Keys A–E or 1–5 choose an option and Enter submits.
- You move forward only. Skip question records no answer and cannot be undone.
- There is no time limit. After each answer, study the worked answer, then select Continue.
Original practice sequences with our own difficulty levels. They do not reproduce SHL’s questions or scoring.

Each short drill has its own trial where included in your access. Starting it uses that trial, even if you leave early. The timed test and the pace test need a practice pass. One SHL Verbal pass covers SHL Checking and SHL Verbal practice. Saved reviews stay free.
