Legacy

Firefly Freedom

Firefly Freedom is the legacy 2015–2018 Arctic Shores app (famously used by Deloitte, which has since moved to a different provider). Its three documented mini-tasks — Repeat the Sequence, Release Fireflies, and Fireflies in the Jar — cover sequence memory, risk-reward launch choices, and speeded tapping. Some employer prep guides still list it, so we recreate the reported format.

How to Play

01

Stage 1 — Repeat the Sequence: watch jars light up, then tap them in order.

02

Stage 2 — Release Fireflies: pick launch targets with different risk/reward.

03

Stage 3 — Fireflies in the Jar: tap as fast as you can for 20 seconds.

04

Three stages, one session; your per-stage numbers are summarised at the end.

In the real assessment

This is a legacy shell: the app was retired and delisted years ago, and its flagship client moved on. We simulate it because prep guides still list it for a few employers — if your invitation names the modern Task-Based Assessment, practice the modern tasks instead.
