Expressions
Expressions is Arctic Shores’ emotion-labeling task: 50 faces, each labeled against the same fixed menu of seven emotions — anger, contempt, disgust, enjoyment, fear, sadness, surprise — with expressions that become deliberately more ambiguous as the rounds progress.
How to Play
A face appears — pick which of the seven emotions it shows.
The menu is the same every round: anger, contempt, disgust, enjoyment, fear, sadness, surprise.
Expressions get more ambiguous as you progress — commit to your best read.
50 faces in total.
In the real assessment
The 50-face count and fixed seven-option Ekman menu are confirmed across multiple sources; the ambiguity ramp is consistently reported. A 3-minute cap is reported by one source — our default is untimed per face with overall pacing.
