Cards
The pymetrics (Harver) Cards game is an Iowa Gambling Task reconstruction. Four position-only decks hide different gain, penalty, and loss-frequency schedules; the task is to learn from outcomes while your running balance changes.
How to Play
You start with $2,000 and make 80 draws. Select any of the four face-down decks by clicking or tapping its position.
Every card reveals a gain and may reveal a simultaneous penalty. Your running balance updates after each draw.
The decks have different hidden payout and penalty-frequency patterns. No deck labels, quality hints, per-deck statistics, or mid-game advice are shown.
Keep choosing until all 80 draws are complete. There is no per-draw time limit.
In the real assessment
The real draw count, exact payout amounts, and deck presentation are not publicly settled. This reconstruction uses the recommended static 80-draw, $2,000, canonical Bechara-style defaults and reveals only the drawn card’s outcome.
