Free dentistry drillHow to study it
- Write the modified Triadan system from memory: quadrants 1 to 4 (permanent) and 5 to 8 (deciduous), then the tooth number. Most numbering questions take ten seconds once you can.
- Learn the dental formulas as numbers you can check: dogs 42 permanent and 28 deciduous teeth, cats 30 and 26.
- Know which technique each tooth needs: the parallel technique works for the caudal mandibular premolars and molars; the maxillary teeth and the rostral mandibular teeth need the bisecting-angle technique.
- Learn a COHAT in order. Sequence questions are common and easy once the order is fixed in your head.
