Free animal care and nursing drillHow to study it
- Give this domain a fifth of your study time. It is worth as many points as dentistry, emergency medicine and pain management combined.
- Make a table of normal temperature, heart rate and respiratory rate for the common species and review it until you can fill it in blank.
- Learn restraint and venipuncture by species. Large-animal and exotic questions are where well-prepared small-animal technicians lose points.
- For every procedure, know the patient preparation, the equipment and the complication to watch for.
