Build a small preparation pack around your selected business area: the job description, a short explanation of its clients, one market development and three examples of your own work. The following are practice suggestions, not disclosed interview questions.
1. Connect a market story to a client decision
Choose one development you can explain without jargon. Describe the mechanism, who could be affected and what evidence would change your view. For wealth management, consider client goals and time horizons; for a corporate function, explain the operational or control implication.
2. Make reasoning deliberate
Practice percentages, interpreting tables, separating conclusions from assumptions and tracking changing visual rules. After each mistake, write down whether the problem was comprehension, arithmetic or an unsupported inference. Improve the method before increasing speed.
3. Build examples with a personal contribution
Prepare examples of collaboration, learning from feedback and handling an unclear task. Identify what you personally did, why you chose it and how you checked the result. University work, volunteering and part-time employment can provide concrete evidence.
4. Practice a concise recommendation aloud
Take a short business brief and record a response using decision, evidence and tradeoff. Listen for missing reasoning and long introductions. In a second attempt, improve clarity while keeping your own natural wording rather than memorizing a script.
