What to expect in the PepsiCo assessment

A specific game set is not established by the current sources. Before practicing a particular format, identify what your invitation actually names and whether the exercise is timed, recorded or conducted onsite.

Good to know: A provider’s practice test is useful only when it matches your invitation. A numerical exercise, personality questionnaire and practical job demonstration call for different preparation; none is a confirmed universal PepsiCo requirement here.

Which PepsiCo roles and programs does this guide cover?

Start with the actual job description and invitation. An assessment guide for a warehouse vacancy may be a poor match for a finance internship or an experienced engineering position. Your preparation should follow the responsibilities and stages you have been given.

The strongest common preparation is a set of specific examples you can explain clearly. Keep the business context short, distinguish your contribution from the team’s, and be ready to explain both your result and what you learned.

Professional and U.S. hourly applicants

The current help page publishes separate professional and U.S. hourly paths. The hourly path explicitly includes assessment results in the initial review.

How to prepare for the PepsiCo assessment process

Build a small evidence bank, then tailor it to the vacancy. The following are preparation exercises, not predicted interview questions.

1. Make your contribution easy to see

Choose five examples and write a short outline for each: challenge, your decision, implementation, result and lesson. Practice follow-ups such as what you would change and how you know the result came from your work.

2. Prepare for the actual working environment

For a manufacturing or R&D application, rehearse explaining an improvement while preserving quality and safety. For a commercial role, practice balancing customer needs, operational constraints and cost. Use a real project or clearly label a hypothetical practice case.

3. Link a brand to a practical business question

For a UK application, the careers page offers useful context on Walkers, Quaker, packaging and product development. Pick one relevant topic and form a thoughtful question about the team’s work, rather than memorising company statistics.

4. Give your examples a clear ending

Avoid stopping at the activity. Explain the before-and-after change, any trade-off, and the evidence available. If a project had no financial result, use an honest outcome such as fewer errors, a completed milestone or improved participation.

5. Rehearse the interview setup

PepsiCo’s interview guide recommends testing the connection and interview application in advance. Practice one concise answer on camera, then review whether your explanation is understandable without specialist knowledge.

PepsiCo assessment FAQ

Does every PepsiCo applicant take the same assessment?

A common test battery is not established. Match preparation to your role’s invitation.

What should I prepare for a GREAT5 interview?

Prepare examples covering learning, working with others, delivering results, adapting and making decisions. Use STAR to explain your personal contribution.

Does PepsiCo use SHL, HireVue or a fixed PepHire test?

The reviewed live pages do not confirm one supplier or a fixed test configuration. A name mentioned elsewhere is insufficient to identify your assessment.

Are the student recruitment dates the same worldwide?

No common worldwide calendar is published on the programme page. Check the particular country and programme, and avoid reusing past intake dates.

What if I have limited paid work experience?

Use relevant coursework, volunteering, clubs or independent projects. Choose examples where you made decisions and can explain the outcome honestly.
