Understand technical interviews, early-career routes, and the scope of India’s N.Ex.T tests.

Prepare for the assessment named in your invitation. The strongest official test detail belongs to the India hardware campaign; the general technical guidance is less prescriptive.
Category practice
The 2026 notice lists digital design, VLSI, coding, and puzzles for the Basic test, followed by an Advanced test. This identifies subject categories, not a verified list of games. Practice relevant engineering problems independently; no game practice is linked here.

Start with the position’s discipline. A graphics software application, ASIC verification role, and MBA internship call for different evidence of ability. A list of generic Nvidia interview questions is useful only when it overlaps with the work you would actually do.
Use the general hiring guidance to understand the interview framework, and a program notice for any organized graduate campaign. Keep those two levels separate when deciding what to practice.
Nvidia lists internships, Ignite, MBA, PhD, and New College Graduate opportunities. Internships are a principal route into early-career hiring and run throughout the year for at least 12 weeks. Program eligibility belongs to the individual opening.

This campaign targets B.Tech and M.Tech students graduating in 2026. Its published sequence is two HackerRank technical tests followed by two discussion rounds, leading to full-time hardware New College Graduate positions. This is a specific campaign, not the worldwide interview template.

Nvidia describes interviews typically lasting 30–60 minutes and possible coding exercises for technical roles, usually using HackerRank.

The main page states an onsite interview is required before an offer, but its FAQ also describes interns as typically interviewing by phone only. Confirm arrangements for your vacancy.

Nvidia’s hiring-area guide distinguishes hardware design and verification, systems software, cloud, graphics, and other specialties. It is a skills guide, not a question bank or test syllabus.
The reviewed guidance does not establish one company-wide game battery, numerical pass mark, or coding cutoff. Do not convert a candidate’s result into a threshold for your role.
The hiring team sets the details.

Choose the relevant discipline before building a practice schedule.
A published campaign calendar and an individual recruiting estimate answer different questions. Neither is a universal application deadline.

| N.Ex.T 2026: historical campaign | Registration ended April 3, 2026 | Tests in April; interviews in May 2026 | Official source The published calendar listed Basic phases on April 12 and 19, Advanced on April 26, virtual interviews May 6–8, and in-person interviews May 30–31. These dates have passed; they are not a new application window. Source: Nvidia N.Ex.T 2026 event notice |
Treat the following as practice recommendations, not predictions of actual interview questions. Build depth around your strongest projects and the role’s stated requirements.
Choose a project where constraints forced a tradeoff. Explain the bottleneck, alternatives, measurements, your contribution, and what changed. Be ready to draw the design and defend the evidence without relying on a polished slide deck.
For software, implement and test a small solution while explaining complexity and edge cases. For hardware, work through timing or verification problems and state your assumptions. Review mistakes by cause: missing fundamentals, weak debugging, or unclear explanation.
Practice explaining how your component affects performance, correctness, and maintainability elsewhere. For example, distinguish a memory bottleneck from an arithmetic bottleneck, or explain how a verification strategy exposes a particular failure mode.
Prepare a concrete example of resolving a technical disagreement and another of finding an error in your own approach. Show how you used evidence and incorporated feedback. For a nonengineering role, replace code examples with decisions and outcomes from that discipline.
Yes, it is named in general technical interview guidance and the India N.Ex.T notice. That does not make every vacancy a standardized HackerRank exam.
No. Use the role and program notice to determine which preparation is relevant.
No. Practice explaining engineering choices, debugging, and projects alongside coding when it is relevant to your role. Hardware and business candidates need a different balance.
The cited 2026 registration period ended in April. Check Nvidia’s current event or vacancy page for another campaign; no later opening is assumed here.
