What to expect in the Globe Telecom assessment

The evidence supports HireVue assessments and technical coding exercises, but it does not establish a named set of assessment games. No simulator is presented here as a confirmed Globe test.

Good to know: A HireVue invitation can involve different products. Read its instructions before choosing practice; familiarity with another employer’s games does not establish preparation for your Globe assessment.

Which Globe Telecom roles and programs does this guide cover?

Globe’s public material is stronger on the technology used for screening than on candidate instructions. A provider relationship is useful evidence, but it does not reveal your question set, the time allowed or the exact sequence for a particular team.

Student internships and OJT

Globe describes an eight-week summer internship for penultimate-year students and a project-based, year-round OJT option for business and technical students. These descriptions establish different development routes, without supplying a common selection-test sequence.

Engineering cadetship and management development

The published cadetship lasts two years within the Network Technical Group and targets highly ranked engineering graduates. The Management Development Program serves fresh graduates, while the six-month General Management Development Program targets MBA/MM graduates. Technical professional recruitment

HireVue’s Globe customer study identifies CodeVue for assessing programming languages in the context of hard-to-fill technical roles. It also names interview scheduling tools. The study does not identify which language, difficulty or assessment configuration applies to a particular vacancy.

How does the Globe Telecom assessment work?

Direct employer confirmation of HireVue

Official source

Globe’s January 2025 announcement of a HireVue customer award explicitly discusses its use of HireVue assessments. The provider identification therefore comes from the employer, alongside a vendor case study, rather than from the application portal alone.

Video and skills assessment deployment

Official source

In May 2025, Globe described HireVue video interviews and skills assessments, a video-and-coding pilot in digital, IT and technology teams, and a broader rollout. This documents assessment categories, not a requirement that every candidate takes a coding test.

A hiring hackathon is a separate route

Official source

Globe’s January 2025 account of its inaugural Code to Career event describes a one-day recruitment hackathon with coding, cloud and AI challenges. It is evidence of a historical work-sample event, not an additional standard round for ordinary applications.

Game Changer does not identify psychometric games

Official source

Globe Game Changer is described as a digital innovation challenge. Its name should not be used as evidence that applicants receive a game-based cognitive assessment.

Candidate-specific details remain unpublished

No evidence found

The reviewed pages do not provide a universal passing score, question count, interview recording allowance, test duration or retake policy. The assessment invitation is needed to establish those details.

What happens in the Globe Telecom hiring process?

What the published careers information establishes

Globe’s careers hub links to current positions and separate student and graduate information. It does not publish a fixed sequence for all applicants.

  1. 1Start from the official role listing and check its business unit, responsibilities and eligibility.
  2. 2Use the vacancy’s application link; the careers hub connects to Globe’s recruitment portal.
  3. 3Keep the vacancy and invitation together so you can distinguish requested skills from general company information.
  4. 4Confirm later interview arrangements from the invitation rather than assuming a set number of rounds.

How the assessment evidence should shape preparation

The May 2025 employer article describes replacing manual prescreening with video and skills assessment technology. It is a deployment account, not a candidate test manual.

  1. 1Prepare a project example with a clear explanation of your own decisions.
  2. 2For a technical invitation, review the required language and practice producing correct, readable solutions.
  3. 3Check whether the invitation asks for video responses, a coding exercise or another skills assessment before setting up your practice.

When is the Globe Telecom assessment?

Program duration, application closing dates and assessment deadlines are separate. The public material does not establish one annual recruitment calendar across Globe.

How to prepare for the Globe Telecom assessment process

The following are suggested exercises, not reported interview questions. Adapt them to the advertised team and your own experience.

1. Turn a project into a clear video answer

Choose a project involving a real customer or colleague. Explain the problem, your role, the decision you made and the result. Rehearse a brief version and a fuller version so you can adapt to the actual time allowance without reading a memorized script.

2. Practice coding only where it fits the role

Use the vacancy’s language and technical requirements to guide revision. Work through a small problem from requirements to implementation, then test edge cases and explain a tradeoff. Practice noticing and correcting a mistake instead of presenting only a polished final answer.

3. Connect engineering choices to service outcomes

For a network or technical application, prepare an example that weighs reliability, performance and cost. Explain what you would measure, how you would diagnose a problem and what would trigger escalation. These are useful discussion themes, not a claim about an official technical question bank.

4. Make management examples measurable

For a graduate business pathway, use an academic, volunteer or work example with a clear objective and competing priorities. Show how you used evidence, involved other people and checked whether your decision improved the outcome.

Globe Telecom assessment FAQ

Does Globe Telecom use HireVue?

Yes. Globe’s own announcements explicitly confirm the relationship. Your invitation identifies the product and assessment tasks relevant to your application.

Does everyone take CodeVue?

The vendor documents CodeVue in technical hiring. That does not establish a coding requirement for every commercial, management or internship candidate.

Are assessment games confirmed?

No named game battery is verified in the reviewed sources. Do not treat the name Globe Game Changer as an assessment-game list.

How long will selection take?

There is no public deadline that applies to every applicant. Use the vacancy closing date, invitation expiry and any recruiter timeline separately; corporate efficiency statistics are not promises about your own result.

Is the Code to Career hackathon currently open?

The cited article reports a past inaugural event. It does not establish a current opening or a recurring schedule; use a new official announcement for future event details.
