What to expect in the Boer & Croon assessment

An October 2025 Young Executive Trainee report mentions cognitive and behavioral games without naming the platform; the July 2026 experience names Equalture. Neither provides a verified game lineup. These reports support expecting a possible game stage, while leaving exact mechanics and scoring unresolved.

Good to know: This guide does not map Equalture reports onto unrelated assessment games. Use any familiarization supplied with your invitation, and treat other reasoning exercises as general preparation rather than a recreation of this employer’s assessment.

Which Boer & Croon roles and programs does this guide cover?

The employer name covers two different candidate situations. You may want to join its consulting team, or you may encounter Boer & Croon because it is recruiting a manager for a client. Read the vacancy heading and employer description before using a Young Executive assessment guide.

For the starter route, the useful preparation question is how you turn analysis into action. The role information emphasizes responsibility, working with clients and helping improvements take hold. Build examples that continue past your recommendation to implementation, stakeholder response and a result you can explain.

What happens in the Boer & Croon hiring process?

The documented Young Executive event route

This sequence belongs to Get it done in a day on January 16, 2025 in Amsterdam.

  1. 1Applicants registered, completed an e-assessment at home and underwent CV selection before invitation.
  2. 2The day included an interview with a Talent Acquisition Specialist, a meeting with a Young Executive and a second interview with a Talent Manager.
  3. 3The event promised feedback and a decision within a week for successful participants. Those arrangements should not be projected onto ordinary applications.

How a client executive search differs

YESS describes a search built around the hiring organization, so prepare for the client’s leadership context as well as the recruiter conversation.

  1. 1The search team develops a role profile from the client’s needs.
  2. 2Shortlisted candidates have substantial conversations with the search team and then enter the client organization’s own process.
  3. 3Check the specific client vacancy for interview dates, an assessment requirement and any further decision stages.

How to prepare for the Boer & Croon assessment process

The exercises below build relevant skills for a transformation and management role. They are practice suggestions rather than a list of questions or cases promised by Boer & Croon.

1. Explain why implementation interests you

Choose a project in which you helped change an actual process. Trace the problem, your analysis, the people affected and what happened after the recommendation. If you only completed the analysis, say so and describe the next practical step you would have taken.

2. Practice a short transformation case

Take a simple scenario such as a growing warehouse backlog. Separate possible causes, choose the first data you would request, calculate a rough capacity gap and propose a small intervention. Finish with an owner, a way to measure progress and a risk to watch.

3. Prepare evidence of influencing others

Rehearse one example of working with someone who disagreed with your plan. Explain their concerns fairly, the questions you asked and how you adapted. Avoid making the other person look unreasonable merely to present yourself as persuasive.

4. Choose a solution area to discuss

Connect your studies or experience to one of the advertised areas, then identify a second area you want to learn. Prepare a concrete explanation of the problem you would like to help solve; a list of fashionable consulting terms is less useful.

5. Match preparation to the invitation

If it specifies games, work through the supplied rules and demonstrations carefully. If it specifies a case, practice structuring and explaining your reasoning aloud. For a client leadership role, focus your examples on that organization’s priorities and the advertised mandate.

Boer & Croon assessment FAQ

Does Boer & Croon use Equalture?

A July 2026 Amsterdam Young Executive candidate reports Equalture. The official careers pages reviewed do not establish that platform for every applicant or role.

Is the Young Executive process completed in one day?

A January 2025 event offered that arrangement after preliminary screening. It is historical event evidence, not a guaranteed schedule for a current application.

What qualifications does the current Young Executive vacancy list?

A completed WO-master and no more than one year of experience. Check the vacancy for the version relevant to your application.

Are vacancies advertised by Boer & Croon always jobs there?

No. Its executive-search services recruit for client organizations. Check the named employer and prepare for that client’s role requirements.

What should I practice before an interview?

Prepare examples of translating analysis into action, working with different stakeholders and learning quickly. A short implementation case is useful optional practice; it is not a confirmed exercise for every applicant.
