The Wipro interview rounds at a glance

  1. 1Registration — Wipro’s program pages list registration first, through Superset or careers.wipro.com. On-campus candidates register through their placement cell’s link.
  2. 2Online assessment — Wipro’s own wording: "an 80-minute online assessment that will test your verbal, analytical, quantitative and written communication skills followed by coding." No games at any point. What the test contains
  3. 3Voice assessment — A separate spoken-English round, listed as 20 minutes on the WILP page and as a "Voice Assessment Round" on the Turbo 2025 page. It does not appear on the 2023-era Elite and STAR pages.
  4. 4Business Discussion — One combined technical-plus-HR conversation covering resume, projects, core CS, relocation and the service agreement. Some drives still run separate technical and HR rounds. What it asks
  5. 5Letter of Intent, pre-skilling training, offer letter — The Turbo 2025 and WILP pages close with a Letter of Intent, a pre-skilling training period and then the offer letter. Candidates describe three to four months end to end.Dates and cadence

What games are in the Wipro assessment?

There is nothing to practice here, and that is the honest answer: Wipro runs no game-based assessment in any round of its India early-career hiring, so none of this site’s game simulators mirror a Wipro stage. What the test actually contains is below, with the one practice format that genuinely transfers. Do not let a prep site sell you game practice for this process.

Aptitude section — verbal, quantitative and logical reasoning (no game)

Category practice

Multiple sources

Wipro publishes only that the assessment tests "verbal, analytical, quantitative" skills. Candidate reports from 2022 to 2025 consistently describe about 48 minutes of aptitude split across the three areas, with older reports giving roughly 14 to 22 questions per sub-section. The reports also describe no negative marking and no backward navigation between questions; both are candidate-reported, not official, so do not count on either. Our timed cognitive aptitude practice trains the same format — fixed clock, mixed verbal, numerical and logical items, accuracy under pressure — even though it is not Wipro’s test.

Practice Aptitude section — verbal, quantitative and logical reasoning (no game)

Written communication — the essay (no game)

Category practice

Multiple sources

Wipro’s Turbo and STAR pages list "a written communication test" as its own segment. Candidates describe 20 minutes to write roughly 200 to 400 words on a general topic, graded for grammar and structure rather than opinion. One 2023 report notes the interviewer asking about the essay topic afterwards. There is no simulator for this; rehearse it on paper with a 20-minute timer, a fixed three-paragraph structure, and two minutes saved at the end to reread for tense and article errors.

Coding — two problems (no game)

Category practice

Multiple sources

Officially "coding" in C, C++, Java or Python. Candidates describe 60 minutes for two easy-to-moderate problems; a 2024 Elite Exclusive report had a dynamic-programming second problem, so the range is wider than "easy". Practice on a normal coding judge, not here: strings, arrays, sorting and simple recursion cover most of the reported set, and confirm which languages your own drive allows before you commit to one.

Voice assessment — spoken English (no game)

Category practice

Single source

An official round: a "Voice Assessment Round" on the Turbo 2025 page and 20 minutes on the WILP page. One 2025 campus candidate describes about an hour of read-and-speak, listen-and-speak, short question-and-answer exchanges, fill in the blanks, sentence correction and a free-speech task, taken roughly two weeks after the online test, and describes it as elimination-based. Prep sites call it SVAR, an SHL spoken-English product, but Wipro never names it and we could not confirm that. Rehearse by reading passages aloud at a steady pace and recording a 60-second unscripted answer on a general topic; automated scorers reward clear, even delivery over speed.

Good to know: Wipro runs no games, so there is no game lineup to get wrong — but the sections above are drawn from candidate reports spanning 2018 to 2025, across programs whose official pages disagree with each other. Your invitation email and the test tutorial are binding; this page is not.

Who gets the Wipro assessment?

Everything below describes Wipro Limited’s India early-career programs — Elite and Elite National Talent Hunt, Turbo, STAR and the Work Integrated Learning Program. Wipro also runs a US Ascent program and UK programmes, but publishes no selection details for them, and we found none.

If you came here looking for Wipro games, there are none. Wipro’s own program pages describe only "an 80-minute online assessment" of verbal, analytical, quantitative and written communication skills followed by coding, and name no platform. Candidates report the test running on AMCAT (Aspiring Minds, acquired by SHL in 2019) in reports from 2018 to 2023 and on CoCubes (Aon) in two 2025 campus reports, so there are no games in this process at all. Nothing we found ties HireVue, pymetrics, Arctic Shores or any other game battery to Wipro in any region.

That makes the preparation simple, and different from most pages on this site: timed aptitude accuracy, a 200-word essay written cleanly under 20 minutes, two coding problems, and a spoken-English round. Date every claim you read about Wipro, including ours. Wipro’s official pages were last written for the 2023 batch (Elite/NTH, STAR) and the 2025 batch (Turbo, WILP), and the Voice Assessment round appears only on the newer pages, so the flow has visibly changed between cycles.

Elite / Elite National Talent Hunt (NTH) — India, engineering graduates

Wipro’s flagship fresher intake for B.E./B.Tech graduates into the Project Engineer role; Elite is the on-campus route and NTH the national off-campus test. The official Superset pages, whose wording is still written for the 2023 batch, give joining compensation of INR 3,50,000, a 12-month service agreement of INR 75,000, and a four-step flow: Registration, Online Assessment, Business Discussion, Offer Letter. Eligibility: B.E./B.Tech with integrated M.E./M.Tech accepted, 60% or 6.0 CGPA in 10th, 12th and graduation, full-time education only, one backlog allowed at the assessment. The program has carried several names across cycles (NLTH, Elite NTH, Elite Exclusive Hiring).

Turbo Hiring Program — premier institutes

The Turbo page, written for the 2025 batch, gives Project Engineer at "CTC: 5.5 lakhs + 1 lakh retention bonus", a 12-month INR 75,000 service agreement, an assessment in three segments (aptitude; coding in C, C++, Java or Python; written communication), and a seven-step flow: Registration, Online Assessment, Voice Assessment Round, Business Discussion, Letter of Intent, Pre-Skilling Training, Offer Letter. Wipro’s Early Careers page says Turbo targets "46 premier institutes, including IIITs, NITs, and select top private colleges".

STAR Hiring Program — top 13 technical institutes

The STAR page, written for the 2023 batch, gives Project Engineer at "CTC: 10 lakhs + 1 lakh retention bonus" across CS, IT, circuital, mechanical, allied and integrated streams, the same three-segment assessment, and the four-step flow with no Voice Assessment. The Early Careers page describes STAR as targeting India’s top 13 technical institutes.

Work Integrated Learning Program (WILP) — BCA and B.Sc graduates

A sponsored M.Tech route for BCA and B.Sc graduates. The official page, written for the 2025 cohort, gives an 80-minute online assessment of "verbal, analytical, quantitative and written communication skills" plus a 20-minute Voice Assessment, then Business Discussion, Letter of Intent, Pre-Skilling Training and Offer Letter, with a stipend from INR 15,000 in year one to INR 23,000 in year four plus an INR 75,000 joining bonus. It is the only official page that puts a duration on the voice round.

Other India tracks listed officially

Wipro’s Early Careers page also lists the Wipro Summer Internship Experience (a two-month MBA internship), a Law School Program recruiting from National Law Universities, Chartered Accountants Cohorts hired through ICAI campus placements, the Global 100 Leadership Development Program (15 months, MBA graduates from top global schools), Step Up (a three-year program for non-engineering graduates with a sponsored PG diploma), the School of Infrastructure Management for diploma holders, and a B School program for two-year MBA students. No assessment details or vendors are published for any of them.

US Ascent, UK Ascent and UK apprenticeships — outside India

Wipro publishes career-site hubs for a US undergraduate Ascent program and for UK Ascent and UK apprenticeships, but every one of those pages rendered only the generic careers navigation with no process, assessment or vendor information. Do not assume the India flow — aptitude plus essay plus coding, the Voice Assessment, the Business Discussion — applies to them; nothing we found describes their selection steps. Wipro subsidiaries with their own graduate intakes (Capco, Designit, Wipro Digital) were not researched here and should be treated as separate employers.

No evidence found

How does the Wipro assessment work?

No games, in any round

Official source

Wipro’s own program pages list only aptitude, written communication and coding for the online assessment, plus a spoken-English Voice Assessment and an interview. No official page, press item or candidate report we found describes a game, and three targeted searches for HireVue, pymetrics or Arctic Shores at Wipro returned nothing but generic prep-site listicles about game assessments in general. If you were sent here by a list of "IT companies that use games", that list is wrong about Wipro.

What Wipro itself publishes about the test

Official source

The Elite, NTH and WILP pages use the same sentence: "an 80-minute online assessment that will test your verbal, analytical, quantitative and written communication skills followed by coding." The Turbo and STAR pages split it into three segments — an aptitude test, coding in C, C++, Java or Python, and a written communication test. That is the whole of Wipro’s published description; no section timings, no question counts, no platform.

Source: Superset — Wipro TURBO page (2025 batch)

The platform is never named by Wipro

Multiple sources

Candidates from 2018 to 2023 name AMCAT, the Aspiring Minds product SHL acquired in 2019 — five independent reports, one describing it running inside Safe Exam Browser. Two 2025 campus reports instead name CoCubes, Aon’s Indian assessment brand. AMCAT is SHL’s Indian brand and CoCubes is Aon’s, so a switch across the 2023-to-2025 boundary is plausible for a company this size, which is exactly why neither can be stated as current. Your invitation email is the only reliable answer.

Source: GeeksforGeeks candidate reports, 2018 to 2025 (candidate-reported; the eras contradict)

The 2025 CoCubes reports do not agree with each other

Multiple sources

Both 2025 campus reports name CoCubes, but they describe materially different tests: one is a roughly two-hour exam of aptitude, an essay and two coding questions; the other is 70 questions in 70 minutes of logical reasoning, C and C++ output prediction and operating-systems questions, with no essay and no coding. They are better read as two different drive types than as two confirmations of one format. Treat the platform as reported rather than settled.

Source: GeeksforGeeks campus reports, 2025 (two reports, different formats)

Press coverage of the SHL acquisition listed Wipro as a client

Single source

Reporting on SHL’s 2019 acquisition of Aspiring Minds listed "IT company Wipro" among its clientele. That fits the AMCAT reports from that era and confirms a vendor relationship existed around 2019. It is not evidence about the current cycle, and the 2025 reports point elsewhere.

Wipro disclaims third-party recruiters on its own pages

Official source

Both the Elite/NTH and WILP pages carry the line "Wipro has not empanelled any third party for conducting recruitment drive." That is an anti-scam notice aimed at people charging money for Wipro jobs, not a statement about assessment vendors — but it does mean you will never see Wipro endorse or name an assessment platform. Anyone asking you to pay for a Wipro test slot or a guaranteed shortlist is running a scam.

The official pages are dated, and the flow changed between them

Official source

As of September 2026 the Elite, NTH and STAR pages still carry 2023-batch wording and the Turbo and WILP pages carry 2025-batch wording. The Voice Assessment round appears only on the newer pages, which means the process visibly changed between cycles. Check the current page for your program before relying on any stage list, including this one.

What happens in the Wipro hiring process?

The official flow, program by program

Wipro publishes the stage list on each program’s Superset page. The two generations of pages differ, and the newer one adds a round.

  1. 1Elite, Elite NTH and STAR (2023-batch pages): Registration, Online Assessment, Business Discussion, Offer Letter.
  2. 2Turbo (2025 batch) and WILP (2025 cohort): Registration, Online Assessment, Voice Assessment, Business Discussion, Letter of Intent, Pre-Skilling Training, Offer Letter.
  3. 3The online assessment is 80 minutes per Wipro on the Elite, NTH and WILP pages, covering verbal, analytical, quantitative and written communication, followed by coding in C, C++, Java or Python.
  4. 4Eligibility on the Elite/NTH page: B.E./B.Tech with integrated M.E./M.Tech accepted, 60% or 6.0 CGPA in 10th, 12th and graduation, full-time education only, one backlog allowed at the assessment.
  5. 5Wipro’s recruitment helpdesk address is published on the same pages; Wipro states it has not empanelled any third party to conduct recruitment drives.

Source: Superset — Wipro TURBO page (2025 batch) and Elite NTH page (2023 batch)

The test as candidates describe it

Wipro publishes 80 minutes. Candidate reports from 2022 through 2025 consistently describe about 128 minutes, which suggests the official figure covers the aptitude and written sections rather than the whole sitting. Treat these timings as reported, not official.

  1. 1Aptitude, about 48 minutes: verbal, quantitative and logical reasoning, roughly 14 to 22 questions per sub-section in the older reports.
  2. 2Written communication, 20 minutes: an essay of roughly 200 to 400 words on a general topic, graded for grammar.
  3. 3Coding, 60 minutes: two problems, easy to moderate, in C, C++, Java or Python; one 2024 report had a dynamic-programming second problem.
  4. 4Remote-proctored by webcam. A 2022 report describes the test running inside Safe Exam Browser, and reports mention no negative marking and no backward navigation — candidate observations, not published rules.
  5. 5A different pattern appears in one July 2025 report: 70 questions in 70 minutes of logical reasoning, C and C++ output prediction and operating-systems questions, with no essay and no coding. Whether that is a distinct drive type or a misdescription is unresolved, so read your own invitation.

Source: GeeksforGeeks candidate reports, 2022 to 2025

The Business Discussion

Wipro lists a single "Business Discussion" round after the assessment. Candidates from 2022 onward describe a 20 to 30 minute video or in-person conversation that merges what used to be separate technical and HR rounds. Older on-campus reports from 2018 and 2023, and a few 2024 to 2026 reports, still describe a separate HR call, so the split varies by drive.

  1. 1Self-introduction, then the resume: final-year project, internships, certifications.
  2. 2Core CS in whichever language you claim: OOP concepts, C++ versus Java, compiler versus interpreter, storage classes and structure versus union in C, arrays versus linked lists, DBMS normalization, SQL queries and joins, operating-system basics such as paging.
  3. 3Occasional live coding in an online compiler: reverse a string, Fibonacci, prime numbers, a character swap, quicksort.
  4. 4Project deep-dive: the stack you used, why, and what you would change. Data-oriented candidates report PySpark DataFrames, aggregations and Python generators.
  5. 5HR items, usually in the same conversation: willingness to relocate, willingness to sign the 12-month service agreement, academic gaps and backlogs, strengths and weaknesses, why Wipro, and sometimes the topic of your essay.

Source: GeeksforGeeks candidate reports, 2022 to 2025

After the interview

The closing steps differ between the two generations of official pages.

  1. 1On the Turbo 2025 and WILP pages: a Letter of Intent, then Pre-Skilling Training, then the Offer Letter.
  2. 2On the 2023-era Elite, NTH and STAR pages: the Letter of Intent is followed by the final Offer Letter, with no training stage listed.
  3. 3Compensation as published: Elite and NTH at INR 3,50,000 joining compensation with a 12-month INR 75,000 service agreement; Turbo at 5.5 lakhs plus a 1 lakh retention bonus; STAR at 10 lakhs plus a 1 lakh retention bonus. The Elite and STAR figures are from 2023-batch pages.
  4. 4One 2023 candidate report describes an upgrade track for top online-assessment scorers, with about three months of training leading to a higher-band Project Engineer offer. No official Wipro page mentions any upgrade mechanism, and prep sites give contradictory pay figures for it; treat it as unconfirmed.
  5. 5Candidates describe the whole pipeline taking three to four months, with waits of several weeks between updates.

When is the Wipro assessment?

There is no reliable Wipro calendar to give you right now, and treating the old cadence as a schedule would be the single easiest way to miss a drive. No dates for the 2027 batch have been announced as of September 2026, and Wipro has said fresher hiring is on demand with no target. Watch careers.wipro.com and Superset rather than assuming the old August-September cadence.

CycleApplication datesLikely assessment windowEvidence
2026-27 cycle (2027 batch)Not announced as of 11 September 2026Not announcedOfficial source

No national NTH registration or test date for the 2027 batch has been published. The official Superset pages still carry 2023-batch wording for Elite, NTH and STAR and 2025-batch wording for Turbo and WILP. Wipro’s CHRO said in April 2026: "We don’t have any target for fresher hiring for the next fiscal. It’s completely on demand, very volatile environment", after FY26 intake fell to 7,500 against an original 10,000 to 12,000 target. A cycle may open on the old cadence, later, or in smaller batches through the year — Wipro has told the market not to assume.

FY26 hiring volume, for contextn/an/aOfficial source

Wipro hired 7,500 freshers in FY26, including more than 3,000 in the March quarter, and declined to publish an FY27 target. Campus recruitment continues on demand. Nothing in that reporting describes a change to the assessment format, only to the volume — the aptitude, essay and coding structure is unchanged across every official page we checked.

Elite NTH 2021 (2022 batch) — historical cadence onlyRegistration closed 20 September 202125 to 27 September 2021Official source

Press coverage of the 2021 cycle gives registration closing on 20 September, the assessment across 25 to 27 September, three test sections (aptitude; a written communication essay; online programming in Java, C, C++ or Python), Rs 3.5 lakh salary, a 12-month Rs 75,000 service agreement, and one backlog allowed at the assessment. This is the clearest dated anchor we have for what the old August-to-September cadence looked like. It is a past cycle, shown for cadence only, and it is five years old.

How to practice for the Wipro assessment

This is one of the few employers on this site where the right answer is to stop looking for games and go practice something else. Wipro’s assessment rewards timed accuracy across verbal, quantitative and logical questions, clean written English under a 20-minute clock, two working solutions in 60 minutes, and clear spoken English. None of those improve from playing cognitive games.

Our timed aptitude practice is the closest honest analog to the first section — same fixed clock, same mixed verbal, numerical and logical items, same penalty for rushing accuracy. It is not Wipro’s test and we do not claim it is. Everything else on this page is preparation you do on paper, in a code editor, and out loud.

Step 1

Drill timed mixed aptitude, not games

About 48 minutes of verbal, quantitative and logical questions per candidate reports. Practice against a clock with mixed item types rather than one topic at a time, and record which sub-section you run out of time on. Reports describe no backward navigation, so build the habit of deciding and moving on.

Step 2

Write three timed essays

Twenty minutes, 200 to 400 words, a general topic. Use a fixed structure so you never spend the clock planning: position, two supporting paragraphs with one concrete example each, a one-line close. Save the last two minutes to reread for tense, articles and subject-verb agreement — the grading is on grammar and structure, not on your opinion.

Step 3

Solve two problems in 60 minutes, repeatedly

Strings, arrays, sorting and simple recursion cover most of the reported set, but at least one 2024 report had a dynamic-programming problem, so do not stop at easy. Confirm from your invitation which of C, C++, Java and Python your drive allows, and practice in that language only.

Step 4

Rehearse the voice assessment out loud

Read passages aloud at a steady, even pace, practice repeating a sentence immediately after hearing it, and record a 60-second unscripted answer on a general topic. Automated spoken-English scoring rewards clear articulation and fluency over speed or vocabulary. Test your microphone in the same room and on the same device you will use.

Step 5

Prepare one combined technical-plus-HR conversation

The Business Discussion merges both. Have two-sentence definitions ready for OOP, polymorphism, normalization, arrays versus linked lists and paging; one walkthrough of your main project including what you would change; and settled answers on relocation, the 12-month service agreement, and any academic gaps or backlogs. Interviewers raise the bond early and expect a straight answer.

Step 6

Read the invitation email as the source of truth

It is the only place that names your platform, your section timings and your deadline. Wipro’s own pages name no vendor, the candidate reports disagree across eras, and every prep site claiming to know which platform you will get is guessing. Wipro also states it has not empanelled any third party for recruitment — nobody legitimate will ask you to pay for a slot.

Wipro assessment FAQ

Does Wipro use game-based assessments?

No. Wipro’s early-career hiring in India does not use a game-based assessment at any stage. The online assessment is a timed aptitude test, a written-communication essay and a coding round, followed by a spoken-English voice assessment and a Business Discussion interview. We found no evidence of HireVue, pymetrics, Arctic Shores or any other game battery at Wipro in any region.

What is the Wipro online assessment pattern?

Wipro publishes "an 80-minute online assessment that will test your verbal, analytical, quantitative and written communication skills followed by coding", with coding in C, C++, Java or Python. Candidates from 2022 to 2025 consistently describe about 128 minutes in total: roughly 48 minutes of aptitude, a 20-minute essay of about 200 to 400 words, and 60 minutes for two coding problems. The 80-minute figure is official; the breakdown is candidate-reported.

Which platform does the Wipro test run on?

Wipro names none, on any of its program pages. Candidates reported AMCAT — the Aspiring Minds product SHL acquired in 2019 — in reports from 2018 to 2023, and two 2025 campus reports name CoCubes, Aon’s Indian brand. Those two 2025 reports describe different test formats from each other, so the platform is reported rather than settled. Your invitation email is the only reliable answer.

What is the Wipro voice assessment?

A separate spoken-English round that Wipro lists officially as a "Voice Assessment Round" on the Turbo 2025 page and as 20 minutes on the WILP page. One 2025 candidate describes about an hour of read-and-speak, listen-and-speak, fill in the blanks, sentence correction and free speech, taken about two weeks after the online test, and describes it as elimination-based. Prep sites call it SVAR, an SHL spoken-English product, but Wipro never names it and we could not confirm that. Note that it does not appear on the older 2023-batch Elite and STAR pages.

What is the Wipro Business Discussion round?

One combined technical-plus-HR conversation of roughly 20 to 30 minutes, listed as a single round on Wipro’s official pages. Candidates describe an introduction, resume and project questions, core CS in your chosen language, sometimes a short live coding task, and HR items such as relocation, the 12-month service agreement, academic gaps and why Wipro. Some drives still run separate technical and HR rounds, so check your invitation.

When is the next Wipro Elite NTH drive?

No dates for the 2027 batch have been announced as of September 2026. Wipro’s CHRO said in April 2026 that there is no fresher-hiring target for the next fiscal and that hiring is "completely on demand", after FY26 intake fell to 7,500. The June 2026 WE_ELITE off-campus requisition returned "not available at this time" when we checked it on 11 September 2026. Watch careers.wipro.com and Superset rather than assuming the old August-September cadence.

What score do I need to pass the Wipro assessment?

Wipro publishes no cutoff or scoring model. Sectional cut-off figures circulating online come from prep-site pattern articles, not from Wipro. Published eligibility on the Elite/NTH page is 60% or 6.0 CGPA in 10th, 12th and graduation, full-time education only, with one backlog allowed at the assessment — that is a gate to sit the test, not a pass mark for it.
