If you arrived here looking for Wells Fargo assessment games, the honest answer is that nothing supports their existence. We searched specifically for pymetrics, Arctic Shores, Aon, Criteria and HireVue Games in a Wells Fargo context and found no official page, no vendor case study and no candidate report naming any of them. HireVue's own case-studies index carries no Wells Fargo study at all. A page telling you to practice "the Wells Fargo games" is inventing them.
What Wells Fargo does confirm, on exactly one page — its careers FAQ — is two things. First, that it "requires job screening assessments for a small number of job types", without ever saying which types or naming a vendor. Second, that "Some positions require an On-Demand Screen (ODS), which is provided by a third-party vendor", where "an ODS is a type of preliminary interview where applicants record video responses to pre-set questions". That is the whole of the official record. The main hiring-process page mentions no assessment, test, game, video round or vendor anywhere, and neither do the job postings themselves.
Prep sites fill that silence with vendor names, and they disagree with each other. Several assert HireVue for the recorded round; JobTestPrep names no video platform at all. Aggregators assert a "Virtual Job Tryout by ModernHire" for branch and teller roles, but the teller-specific prep page we fetched never mentions either name — and ModernHire was absorbed by HireVue in 2023, so a page still presenting it as a current standalone vendor is repeating stale material. None of these pages cites a candidate invitation. This page names no vendor as fact, because no source we could verify does.
Two things genuinely worth your time instead. Wells Fargo runs two completely different calendars — non-CIB summer internships open June to July of the preceding year, while Corporate & Investment Banking opens in January roughly 18 months ahead of the start, so waiting for the June window means missing CIB entirely. And the branch, teller and operations track is a separate hiring process with a different assessment from the graduate and analyst programs; conflating the two is the most common error on competitor pages, and we keep them apart below.
