Start with a short diagnostic
Choose your required subjects, then take the diagnostic. This is a starting sample rather than a prediction. For each miss, identify whether the issue was an unfamiliar concept, a misunderstood passage, an arithmetic slip or an unchecked answer.
Study one method, then apply it
Read the matching lesson and solve its worked example before looking at the answer. Take a targeted drill, explain each mistake in your own words, and return to the skill after a delay. Include strong subjects briefly so they remain familiar.
If you have two weeks
- Days 1–2: confirm requirements, take the diagnostic and choose priority skills.
- Days 3–7: work through short lessons and drills across all required subjects.
- Days 8–10: take individual section rehearsals and review the errors.
- Days 11–14: complete a selected-subject rehearsal, revisit weak skills and check test-day logistics.
If you have six weeks
- Week 1: diagnose gaps and set a sustainable schedule.
- Weeks 2–3: review foundations, rotating required subjects rather than studying only science.
- Week 4: combine skills in mixed sections; check units, vocabulary and answer submission carefully.
- Weeks 5–6: use fresh section and full rehearsals, then targeted review. Avoid using repeated answers as your main evidence of readiness.
Keep goals specific
Choose a goal such as solving proportion problems with correct units or identifying the evidence for each inference. Increasing a score is useful; knowing which method changed makes the improvement repeatable. This schedule is our study suggestion, not an official HESI requirement.
