There is no game-based assessment at Deloitte
Official sourceThis is the page’s central claim and it is a verified negative. Deloitte’s own UK assessment page sets out every stage and describes the question formats explicitly as ranking, selecting, written responses and recorded video responses — no games. No Deloitte careers page in any region we fetched describes a game, and no vendor case study names Deloitte. Deloitte does not use pymetrics, Arctic Shores, Aon, Criteria or HireVue’s cognitive game battery. If a prep site is selling you Deloitte game practice, it is selling you practice for something that does not exist in this process.

The Arctic Shores claim is wrong, and we can show why
Official sourceSeveral prep sites assert that Arctic Shores game-based assessments are used by "PwC, Deloitte and KPMG". We checked the vendor’s own case-studies archive: it names sixteen clients — Experis Academy, Entain, Publicis, ReGeneration, FDM Group, Holcim UK, Sisk, Molson Coors, Thales, Siemens, Capita, Adecco, Kantar, Burness Paull, WSP and Essex Fire & Rescue — and Deloitte is not one of them. The likely origin of the folklore is that Deloitte ranked Arctic Shores in its UK Technology Fast 50, an award for revenue growth rather than a client relationship.

Deloitte names its UK stages but not its vendor
No evidence foundThe UK process is Deloitte’s own vocabulary: Immersive Online Assessment at stage 2, Job Simulation at stage 3. Deloitte names no supplier for either. Prep sites widely attribute the Immersive Online Assessment to Cappfinity, but Cappfinity’s own client-stories page does not name Deloitte — it names no clients at all — and the only verifiable link between the two is a jointly hosted 2021 ISE diversity webinar, which is not evidence of an assessment contract. Treat the vendor as unconfirmed.

Do not plan around the Immersive Online Assessment’s published specs, because there aren’t any
Official sourceDeloitte publishes no length, question count, section count, timing policy or pass mark for the Immersive Online Assessment. The widely quoted figures — 32 to 35 questions across five sections, untimed, 60 to 90 minutes, no pass mark — come from prep sites that copy each other and then disagree with one another on duration (30 minutes in some, 60 to 90 in others). Since the sources contradict each other and Deloitte confirms none of it, do not build a plan around any of those numbers.

You get a feedback report after the Immersive Online Assessment
Official sourceDeloitte says: "After the assessment, you’ll receive a feedback report about your strengths. This isn’t the outcome of your assessment, but it will provide you with valuable advice on how to develop your skills." Read it as development feedback, not as a result — a positive report does not mean you have passed.

The Job Simulation has four question formats, in Deloitte’s own words
Official sourceDeloitte lists them as "Ranking response options in order of preference; Selecting the most appropriate response(s) from a given set; Providing written responses; Recording video responses." That last one matters: there is a recorded video component inside the UK Job Simulation, so you need the same recorded-answer composure the Canada and US video rounds demand. Deloitte does not say which platform delivers it, and we will not guess.

Deloitte points you to its Candidate Zone and to in-assessment practice questions
Official sourceFor the Job Simulation Deloitte says "Visit our Candidate Zone, it’s full of helpful tips and resources specifically for the job simulation", and notes there are "in-assessment practice questions to help you get familiar with the technology and format". The Candidate Zone appears to sit behind the application flow, so we cannot describe its contents — but if you have an invitation, open it before you start, because it is Deloitte’s own material about Deloitte’s own assessment.

OneStop merges stages 2 and 3 for some routes
Official sourceDeloitte: "For our Entry Level Apprenticeships, and some of our shorter work experience programmes, we’ll roll steps 2 and 3 into one online assessment called OneStop." If you are on one of those routes you sit one assessment rather than two, which means the recorded video component and the situational content arrive in the same sitting. The main graduate route is not affected.

HireVue is officially named by Deloitte Canada, and only by Canada
Official sourceDeloitte Canada’s student recruitment page states: "If selected for a first-round interview, you will receive an invitation to submit your digital, on-demand video interview via HireVue." This is the clearest official naming of HireVue anywhere in Deloitte’s global careers estate. It is a video interview — recorded answers to interview questions — and not HireVue’s game battery.

US HireVue is reported and corroborated, not officially confirmed
Multiple sourcesDeloitte US’s own interview-tips page gives STAR-method and elevator-pitch guidance but never names a video platform, an assessment vendor or any game. Against that, Deloitte runs a live branded HireVue tenant at deloitte.hirevue.com headed "Excite. Enlighten. Engage. On Demand Interview", and US candidate reports across consulting, advisory and technical roles consistently describe a one-way HireVue video round with behavioral questions. Reported specifics — 6 to 12 questions, roughly 30 to 60 seconds of preparation, one to three minute answers, sometimes typed written responses, and completion windows of about three days to a week — are candidate and prep-site sourced, not official. The tenant page itself does not specify region or role, so it corroborates HireVue use without proving the US specifically.

Canada adds an unnamed, role-dependent online assessment at second round
Official sourceDeloitte Canada says second-round interviews "may take place virtually, on-campus or in a Deloitte office" and may involve "a combination of behavioural and/or case interviews. Some roles may also require you to complete an online assessment." Which roles, and what that assessment is, are not published — and no game is described.

South Africa’s psychometrics are role-dependent and unnamed
Official sourceDeloitte South Africa lists "psychometric or skills based tests depending on the role and Service line", to be completed within two weeks of the Assessment Centre. No vendor is named and nothing game-shaped is described. If you are in the SA graduate process, the invitation is the only thing that tells you whether a test applies to your service line.

The Indian aptitude-test-plus-Versant process is unverified
Single sourceIndian prep sites describe a roughly 90-minute aptitude test covering quantitative, logical, verbal and CS fundamentals, plus a Versant automated English voice assessment, for Deloitte US-India campus drives. Deloitte’s official US-India recruitment page describes only profile submission, review and campus interview scheduling — it names no test, no vendor and no platform. The prep sites copy one another, so this is single-source at best. We are not stating that Deloitte uses SHL, AMCAT or Versant, because no official source names any of them.

The Forage Virtual Experience is not part of your application
Official sourceDeloitte Australia’s free Forage-hosted virtual experience programs in cyber, data analytics and technology are "self-paced and free" with "no cost, no due date" and award a completion certificate. They are an optional skills program. They are not a hiring stage, they are not scored in any application, and they are not the UK Job Simulation, despite the similar framing. Doing one is a reasonable way to learn what the work looks like; it is not assessment preparation.
