The assessment tests how you find and use information in workplace graphics, from simple tables to complex displays. Accurate reading of units, legends and relationships matters as much as finding a number.

Common questions
How long is Graphic Literacy?
ACT’s standard Graphic Literacy assessment contains 38 questions in 55 minutes. Our full timed practice uses the same count and time limit, with four answer choices per question.
Is Graphic Literacy the same as Locating Information?
Locating Information is the legacy predecessor. ACT redesigned the assessment as Graphic Literacy; use current preparation for the test named in your invitation.
Can I use a calculator?
No. ACT permits calculators for Applied Math, not Graphic Literacy. These exercises focus on understanding visual information rather than lengthy calculations.
What can I practice free?
