Try the controls, reflect on your preferences and practice two verbal formats. No account, timer or personality score.
Try the examplesThese are original learning examples, not an employer assessment. Answers stay on this page and disappear when you reload. Behavioral preferences have no right or wrong answer; verbal examples explain a specific language task. Your invitation determines its actual controls and timing.
Rank your preferences
When you begin an unfamiliar task, which approach is most like you? Put the most typical first and the least typical last. This is a relative choice, not a rating of whether an approach is good.
- 1.Work out a clear plan before starting.
- 2.Discuss ideas with someone else.
- 3.Start exploring and refine the approach as I learn.
Use a slider
Place the marker where it best describes your usual preference. The endpoints describe a continuum; they are not a good and a bad answer.
Move the slider or use its arrow keys. The starting midpoint is not a recommendation.
Categorize activities
For each activity, select whether it tends to give you energy, depends on the situation or tends to drain your energy. This asks about enjoyment, not how capable you are.
Separate ability from enjoyment
Think about explaining a complex idea to someone unfamiliar with it. Rate your present confidence and how much you enjoy the activity separately.
Match a communication style
Choose the reply that most closely matches each message’s level of formality and detail. All replies convey the same delivery date; focus on the communication style.
Make targeted corrections
Correct the three editable words. Keep the meaning and all other wording. One correction concerns grammar, one spelling and one an apostrophe.
