Which option completes the matrix?
Record each feature separately: position, count, direction and fill. Check that a proposed step fits both complete rows and complete columns.
Common mistake: A rule that fits one row may fail in a column. The exact positions of the symbols matter.
Practice sequencesTest whether the third cell combines the first two, keeps their shared symbols, or removes a repeated symbol. Apply the same operation to every available line.
Common mistake: A correct symbol count is not enough: its location, shape and shading must also match.
Practice matrix rulesSolve one feature at a time and use it to eliminate options. Confirm the remaining option against every other feature before submitting.
